Grant Hill has no plans to retire after this season.
Hill, now 39, said that he plans on returning and thinks he can play for "another year, maybe two." Hill signed a one-year deal with the Suns before the season, and said that he hopes to spend the rest of his career in Phoenix. Hill has picked up his game since the All-Star break with averages of 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 0.9 steals on 53 percent shooting.

Grant Hill returned from a night of rest on Friday and had 14 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals on 7-of-13 shooting in a win over the Pistons.
Hill's five-game week got turned into a four-gamer with the DNP, but he's still producing effectively when he plays. The Suns have four games next week, meaning Hill's worth a look in deeper leagues.

Thu Mar 15 201221:36Grant Hill to be rested Thursday vs. Clips
Grant Hill will be rested on Thursday against the Clippers.
Both Hill and Steve Nash will be prone to rest on the tail-end of back-to-backs at anytime, so this shouldn't be surprised. We'll update you as soon as we learn who the new starters will be.

Tue Mar 13 201202:47Grant Hill tweaks back during game; stays in
Grant Hill tweaked his back during Monday's game, but finished the game with 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting (no threes), two rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 32 minutes.
It's a suspicious start to his five-game week, and owners will want to be on the lookout for signs that he'll be given a night off. There's not enough here for us to put him on the injury report in advance of Wednesday's game against the Jazz, however.

Fri Mar 2 201200:18Grant Hill scores season-high 20 points
Grant Hill scored a season-high 20 points on Thursday, hitting 8-of-12 shots from the field with five rebounds, two assists, and one block.
Hill has produced enough to be owned in all 12-team formats. Certainly he carries some age and injury risk, but he's been relatively durable over the past few years.

Thu Feb 23 201202:11Grant Hill plays well in loss to Warriors
Grant Hill had 16 points, three boards, six assists, a steal and a block on 6-of-16 shooting in Wednesday's tough loss to the Warriors.
Hill has quietly hit double digits in scoring in four of his last five games and is averaging nearly 14 points, more than three rebounds and three assists, along with a steal over that stretch. The Suns might be careful with his minutes over the second half, but there's no reason he can't produce like this the rest of the way, either.

Thu Feb 16 201204:22Hill socres 18 points; plays great defense
Grant Hill played on Wednesday after Tuesday's prescribed rest in the midst of a triple-set of games, and scored 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting (including a three) with six rebounds, two assists, and one steal in 37 minutes.
Don't look now but Hill is playing really well, and starting to produce in fantasy leagues. Give him a look if you need a forward. He has held Joe Johnson, Monta Ellis, and Tyreke Evans to just 8-of-39 field goals (20.5 percent) in the last three games.

Tue Feb 14 201202:02Hill posts nice line against the Warriors
Grant Hill scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, five assists, a steal, and a block against the Warriors on Monday.
Consider the opponent, but give Hill a look if you're in need of a forward. It appears the Suns are starting to click a little bit and Hill could end up providing low-end value.

Sat Feb 4 201203:17Hill (knee) returns to action on Friday
Grant Hill (knee) returned to action on Friday, scoring seven points on 3-of-9 shooting with no rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes.
The Suns were blown out and none of the starters played in the fourth quarter. Given all the minor troubles with his health and the general disarray in Phoenix there's enough reason to pass on Hill for now in most formats.

Grant Hill (knee) will play on Friday against the Rockets.
Hill was considered questionable but he will suit up and cover Kevin Martin. Hill hasn't been the same player for owners that he was last year, as he's averaging just 9.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists on a career-low 40.3 percent shooting.

Grant Hill (knee) is considered questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets.
Hill's right knee became too sore to play on in the second half of Wednesday's win over the Hornets. He will take Thursday off and then see how he feels at Friday's shootaround. Hill has been playing 25.9 minutes per game at age 39.

Sat Jan 28 201203:11Grant Hill (eye) plays on Friday in loss
Grant Hill (eye) played in Friday's game, as expected, and scored 12 points on 5-of-13 shooting (including a three) with one rebound and one steal in 23 minutes.
Hill has played well enough to deserve fantasy consideration in 12-team leagues, and his line would have looked a bit nicer tonight had the game not been a blowout. Ideally, owners will pick up Hill in a 14-team league with the Suns' offense unable to get going.

Wed Jan 25 201200:19Grant Hill suffers cut above eye in loss
Grant Hill had 11 points, five rebounds and a 3-pointer in 22 minutes before leaving Tuesday's game after taking an elbow to the head from Andrea Bargnani.
He suffered a laceration above his left eye, but remained on the bench and wanted to return. We're guessing he's fine for Friday's game at Portland, but whether he should be starting for fantasy owners depends on your options.

Tue Jan 24 201204:47Hill posts 19 and eight with eight turnovers
Grant Hill scored 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and an amazing eight turnovers in 34 minutes of action on Monday.
Hill hadn't turned the ball over that much since 2000, but otherwise this is a great performance for a guy who may be getting healthy enough to produce. Owners in 12-team leagues should be giving Hill a hard look right now.

Sat Jan 21 201201:57Grant Hill posts first active line in a while
Grant Hill scored nine points on 4-of-9 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocks in 35 minutes on Friday.
Hill has been quiet all year and this might qualify as his best performance of the season. Maybe his quad/knee injury is feeling better and is ready to produce. As a low-end producer, owners should wait-and-see in 12-14 team leagues to see if he can keep it up.

Wed Jan 18 201200:49Grant Hill scores eight points on Tuesday
Grant Hill had just eight points in 21 minutes on Tuesday.
He had four points in his return on Sunday and while he might get hot at some point, can be dropped for a hot free agent.

Sun Jan 15 201223:33Grant Hill returns after quad injury
Grant Hill returned to action on Sunday after missing one game with a sore right quad.
Hill had four points and two rebounds in 23 minutes. He's been hurting since the season began, so we're not under the illusion that he's fully healthy, but he should be able to play in the Suns' three games next week.

Sat Jan 14 201214:02Grant Hill (quad) iffy to face Spurs Sunday
Grant Hill (quad) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Spurs.
We originally heard Hill was out with a knee problem, but he was actually bothered by a strained quad near his knee. He could have played but coach Alvin Gentry chose to play it safe, not wanting his veteran swingman to risk further injury.
