Semih Erden played on Friday after missing a ton of time with a shoulder injury, but picked up four fouls in just 12 minutes to finish with two points and three rebounds.

Fri Apr 8 201111:42Semih Erden ready to return for Cavs
Semih Erden is finally ready to return from his shoulder injury for Cleveland on Friday.
Erden has appeared in just one game for Cleveland and doesn't figure to have fantasy appeal, but his presence is huge for the Cavs' overmatched frontcourt. He proved in Boston earlier this season that he's at least a competent NBA center.

Tue Apr 5 201116:37Semih Erden out Tuesday, won't travel to Tor.
Semih Erden (shoulder) won't play on Tuesday night against the Bobcats or travel to Toronto for Wednesday's game against the Raptors.
Coach Byron Scott is optimistic that he'll play before the season ends, but at this point the likelihood of that happening is shrinking by the day. He's not a viable fantasy option when he's healthy anyway. Samardo Samuels and Luke Harangody will continue to pick up the minutes that Erden may have collected.

Mon Apr 4 201113:52Erden Inching Closer to a Return for Cavs
Semih Erden (shoulder) practiced in 5-on-5 drills for the first time in weeks today and coach Byron Scott is hoping that he can play in the team's final two or three games.
Erden has no place being anywhere near a fantasy roster, but it's nice to see that he hasn't given up in his attempt to come back this season despite being traded from the Celtics to the Cavs.

Mon Mar 7 201110:17Erden confesses to being 'rusty' in debut
Semih Erden confessed that he was "rusty" in his first action as a Cleveland Cavalier.
Erden failed to score and missed his three shots. It will take a few games before he stands a chance to crack the lineup with any significant minutes. He's expected to have shoulder surgery this summer so the team could opt to give him just enough minutes to get experience playing with the rest of the roster.

Sun Mar 6 201122:13Erden returns to action
Semih Erden (shoulder, groin) returned to action with zero points and five rebounds in 10.7 minutes off the bench.
Erden is a raw project with limited offensive upside. He obviously isn't a real threat to J.J. Hickson or Samardo Samuels starting status.

Sun Mar 6 201118:30Semih Erden to make debut for Cavaliers
Semih Erden (shoulder, groin) participated in team warmups prior to their game on Sunday and is expected to make his first appearance as a Cleveland Cavalier.
This news puts a damper on the values of J.J. Hickson and Samardo Samuels. Look for coach Byron Scott to ease him into the lineup but don't be surprised if Erden makes his way into the starting rotation if he can show that his shoulder isn't bothering him too much.

Tue Mar 1 201113:33Erden expected to miss a week
Semih Erden (shoulder, groin) is still a few games from making his Cavs' debut.

Tue Mar 1 201110:30Erden expected to play Wednesday
Semih Erden (groin, shoulder) is expected to play in Wednesday's game against the Spurs.
Erden's shoulder may need offseason surgery, but he's going to fight through it. And with Antawn Jamison (finger) out, there is certainly room for Erden to get minutes. He'll likely start off as a reserve behind Samardo Samuels and Ryan Hollins.

Sun Feb 27 201116:09Semih Erden likely to need shoulder surgery
Cavs coach Byron Scott revealed that big man Semih Erden has a should injury that will likely require off-season surgery.
It doesn't sound like it will keep him from playing but it may hinder his performance. He's a player to keep an eye on with more opportunity in Cleveland, but the injury is also worthy of monitoring when assessing his value.

Sun Feb 27 201110:14Cavs trade acquisitions questionable Sunday
Cleveland Cavalier trade acquisitions, Baron Davis, Semih Erden and Luke Harangody are questionable to play in Sunday's game against Philadelphia because they still haven't practiced with the team.
Davis has more hoops to jump through prior to playing, namely passing a physical. Erden may see time early as soon as he joins the lineup and should be watched closely. Harangody still needs some development but could become a decent contributor.

Thu Feb 24 201115:35C's send Semih Erden to Cleveland
Boston has traded Semih Erdan and Luke Harangody to Cleveland for a second-round pick, according to sources.
This leaves Nenad Krstic and Shaquille O'Neal as the somewhat healthy centers in Boston, so it's not out of the question that Kevin Garnett could start at center, with Jeff Green possibly going at power forward. Glen Davis is also a possible starter at PF for Boston if KG is going to play some center.
