Mon Feb 25 201309:07Doc Rivers views Terrence Williams as PG
Doc Rivers views Terrence Williams as a point guard.
"He's more of a point guard than anything else," he said. Williams said that he just likes "to have the ball in my hands," and T-Will spent two weeks working out the Celtics in the offseason to prove that he had legitimate point guard skills.

Sat Feb 23 201301:51Terrence Williams scores nine vs. Suns
Terrence Williams played 25 minutes against the Suns on Friday, scoring nine points with four rebounds, four assists and one 3-pointer.
He looked pretty good in his best NBA game since April of last year. Garbage time was a big factor here, so there's no reason to grab T-Willie in almost any league.

Wed Feb 20 201314:39Celtics announce Terrence Williams signing
Boston Celtics announce signing of G/F Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract.
Williams is expected to be available to play Wednesday night against the Lakers. The Celtics were waiting for paperwork from Williams' former Chinese team to clear before announcing the deal. He doesn't have a ton of fantasy value now, but his potential makes him at least worth watching, especially in deeper leagues.

Tue Feb 19 201319:39Terrence Williams still not cleared to play
Terrence Williams has not received clearance from his former Chinese team and he will not play Tuesday.
He is with the team, but he will need clearance in writing. Williams could help Boston at point guard, shooting guard and small forward, so he could become a part of their rotation. While he doesn't really have value yet, he's shown flashes of upside and is on the radar in very deep leagues.

Mon Feb 18 201311:12Report: Celtics eyeing Terrence Williams
A source told the Boston Globe that the Celtics are "strongly considering" signing Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract.
Interesting. Talent has never been the issue for Williams, but before being cut in training camp by the Pistons, he had to accept a non-guaranteed contract and had played for three teams in just three years. The 2009 No. 11 overall pick would be an intriguing addition because he can play multiple positions for a banged-up Boston team.

Thu Nov 1 201223:38Terrence Williams signs with Chinese club
Terrence Williams has agreed to a one-year deal with Guangdong in China.
T-Willie looked like he was going to be in a mainstay in NBA rotations after averaging over 14 points per game during the last two months of his rookie campaign. However, his shot selection and lack of defense may have been his undoing. He has some talent, but his basketball career will continue overseas for now.

Mon Oct 22 201212:40Terrence Williams cut loose by Pistons
Pistons waived G/F Terrence Williams.
The numbers game got the best of Williams as he never really had a chance to stick in Detroit. The versatile swingman will look for another opportunity, but his rope is running short.

Sat Oct 13 201202:06T-Will productive as usual in preseason loss
Terrence Williams was a bright spot for the Pistons' bench in Friday's exhibition loss, posting a typical versatile line of two points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and three blocks in 24 minutes.
Williams remains one of the league's biggest enigmas after some time has passed with no major incidents off the court. Kings players loved playing with the willing passer on the court, and some even openly questioned why he wasn't re-signed. He excelled when on the court in Sacto, too, but Williams was a hair away from being out of the league. Whatever the off-the-court stuff is, he'll always be worth watching with one eye to see if he can finally pan out.

Fri Sep 21 201208:15Pistons sign Terrence Williams on camp deal
Pistons sign G/F Terrence Williams to a non-guaranteed contract.
T-Will's stock has really slipped in NBA circles, as evidenced by the fact that he couldn't land anything better than a training camp contract. The No. 11 overall pick of the 2009 draft has been on three teams in his first three years in the league and the Pistons will make his fourth. He's always had intriguing athleticism and has shown flashes of productivity, but he hasn't been able to enjoy sustained success.

Wed Sep 12 201218:06Source: Pistons to work out Terrence Williams
A source with knowledge of the situation says unrestricted FA Terrence Williams is working out for the Pistons in Detroit this week.
It's a pretty ominous sign that the 25-year old has already been on three teams and can't find a team to give him a shot just three years removed from being a lottery pick (No. 11 overall) in the 2009 draft. For what it's worth, the Mavericks and Celtics are believed to be interested as well.

Thu Aug 23 201209:33Wizards express interest in Terrence Williams
The Wizards have expressed interest in unrestricted FA Terrence Williams, a source tells the Washington Post.
Washington is evaluating whether or not the team needs to add another player to the current mix, and we haven't heard much on Williams' future after he drew some interest from a few teams in early July. It's not a terribly promising sign for the No. 11 pick of the 2009 draft that he's already been on three teams and can't drum up a market despite being just 25 years old.

Tue Jul 3 201211:43UFA Terrence Williams drawing interest
Unrestricted free agent Terrence Williams is drawing interest from the Kings, Pistons and Suns, sources tell Hoopsworld.
Williams was not given a qualifying contract offer by the Kings, making him an unrestricted free agent. Given the Pistons roster currently stands at 15, it's hard to put too much stock into this report. The Suns and Kings are both far likelier options for T-Will.

Sun Jul 1 201202:25Report: Kings reach out to Terrence Williams
The Kings have reportedly reached out to unrestricted free agent G/F Terrence Williams.
They didn't make a qualifying offer to him, but it does sound like they'd like to re-sign him. He would have a backup role with the Kings (or any other team), meaning he doesn't look to be much of a fantasy threat again next year.

Fri Jun 29 201214:00Terrence Williams now unrestricted free agent
The Kings will not extend a qualifying contract offer to Terrence Williams, making him an unrestricted free agent.
T-Will was serviceable in a reserve role when he landed in Sacramento last season and it's a mild surprise that he won't be back with the team. The No. 11 pick from the 2009 draft class will now look to prove that he can stick with a team after going landing on three different rosters since coming into the NBA.

Fri May 18 201210:08Knicks targeting cheap free agents?
The Star-Ledger suggests the Knicks could target Terrence Williams, Marquis Daniels or DeShawn Stevenson in free agency.
With Iman Shumpert (knee surgery) facing an uncertain rehab process, the Knicks will have to bring in additional assistance in the second unit. While none of the three players will replace Shumpert, it's clear the Knicks will be shopping in the bargain bin this summer.

Sat Apr 28 201210:13Terrence Williams inclined toward Kings?
Terrence Williams said he hopes to re-sign with the Kings this summer, after averaging 8.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 18 games.
T-Will said he wants to wrap up his free agency quickly, and would be inclined to accept "a good deal for a couple a years" from the Kings. As we've noted before, Williams is worth keeping a very close eye on, especially if Sacramento trades Tyreke Evans this offseason.

Fri Apr 27 201204:35T-Willie returns to limited role on Thursday
Terrence Williams (illness) returned to action on Thursday, scoring four points on 2-of-4 shooting with one rebound, one assist, one steal, and one block in just under 10 minutes.
Williams is a stat magnet when he's on the floor, and he should be watched in case the Kings decide to part ways with Tyreke Evans. Travis Outlaw, his new counterpart, started and scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with two threes and two blocks, while Jimmer Fredette came off the bench for 10 points with two threes.

Thu Apr 26 201221:08T-Willie to play on Thursday vs. Lakers
Terrence Williams (illness) will play on Thursday against the Lakers.
Williams has seen the action go away from him lately, but he has opened eyes around the arena and is a sneaky, albeit incredibly risky play tonight. Travis Outlaw has been given the burn recently with Marcus Thornton out, but it could be time for one last look at Williams before the Kings make offseason decisions about Tyreke Evans.
