Tue Apr 24 201219:58Terrence Williams sidelined by illness
Terrence Williams (illness) will not play in Tuesday's game against the Thunder.
Doctors are checking on Williams to see if he has a case of food poisoning. His status for Thursday's finale is unclear, but he hasn't topped 15 minutes in three of the last four games anyway.

Sat Apr 21 201200:53Williams scores five points with four boards
Terrence Williams scored five points on 2-of-8 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds and two assists in 15 minutes off the bench on Friday.
This was a disappointing result considering Marcus Thornton (quad) was out, but Williams might have been a victim of circumstance tonight. Travis Outlaw was given what may have been a token look, and Tyreke Evans' agent was in the house to talk about his role with the team going forward. With Thornton's status for the year in question, Williams is somebody to watch going forward.

Sat Apr 14 201201:54T-Willie posts 10-9-6 line in blowout loss
Terrence Williams scored 10 points on 5-of-11 shooting with nine rebounds and six assists in 29 minutes off the bench in Friday's blowout loss.
Williams had a disaster game on Tuesday but has refused to go away since then, and he's well worth fantasy consideration for the chance he can eek out value as a reserve for the Kings.

Wed Apr 11 201223:32Terrence Williams plays well in 23 minutes
Terrence Williams had 16 points, five rebounds and two 3-pointers in 23 minutes off the Kings bench on Wednesday.
Isaiah Thomas and DeMarcus Cousins both played limited minutes on the second night of a back-to-back so Williams got some nice run tonight. But with Marcus Thornton back and Tyreke Evans playing well, the arrow on Williams' fantasy value is pointing down going forward.

Tue Apr 10 201223:31Terrence Williams invisible
Terrence Williams was invisible in 15 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, notching just two points, three rebounds, and three assists.
Williams had been averaging 13 points per game over his last five but with Marcus Thornton returning and Tyreke Evans playing well, Williams wasn't as essential to the offense. He could get it going again but is probably worth dropping after this performance.

Mon Apr 9 201200:04Terrence Williams has another big line
Terrence Williams had 21 points, eight rebounds, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer on 7-of-16 shooting in 33 minutes of Sunday's loss.
Williams is now averaging 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and 1.6 steals over his last five games, and has become a favorite of coach Keith Smart. But with Marcus Thornton due back soon, and Tyreke Evans due to break out of a slump, Williams could start to tail off at any time. Weigh options carefully before starting his this week.

Sun Apr 8 201201:31T-Will posts nine assists in loss to Clippers
Terrence Williams posted a season-high nine assists off the bench in Saturday's loss, adding five points (2-of-7 FGs), three rebounds and two steals in 25 in minutes.
T-Will continues to benefit from the absence of Marcus Thornton and John Salmons -- Thornton is genuinely day-to-day but there's no timetable for Salmons. We're still not thrilled with the mid-20 minutes, but it's possible that Williams can keep up this production.

Fri Apr 6 201201:32T-Willie posts a pedestrian line vs. Clippers
Terrence Williams scored 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 24 minutes off the bench on Thursday.
We would have liked to have seen more minutes for Williams, but Keith Smart decided to roll with Jimmer Fredette for 22 minutes and that cut into his load. The good news is that Smart is very high on Williams, and he should be worth starting consideration at least while Marcus Thornton is out and possibly beyond.

Wed Apr 4 201201:04Terrence Williams plays well off bench
Terrence Williams didn't end up starting on Tuesday, but it didn't matter, as he racked up 16 points, six rebounds, five assists and two blocks on 7-of-10 shooting in 31 minutes.
Williams is getting nice run with Marcus Thornton injured, and could continue to be a factor once Thornton is healthy. He's averaging 10 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and a steal over his last five games, and those numbers are on the rise after his last two strong lines. Give him a look if you need someone who can help your team right now.

Tue Apr 3 201202:44Terrence Williams double-doubles vs. Wolves
Terrence Williams scored 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting (no threes) with 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 32 minutes off the bench on Monday.
Williams also started the second half with Marcus Thornton (calf) leaving during the first quarter, and whether or not Thornton (day-to-day) returns we're all about adding him as a speculation play in 12-14 team leagues. The Kings have four more games this week and they'll need an 'all hands on deck' approach, so minutes shouldn't be an issue. When asked after the game about his resurgence with the Kings, a moved Williams said that he was "speechless," and the hope is that an uncertain future will motivate him to cash in on the potential.

Sun Apr 1 201201:18T-Will logs 23 minutes off Kings' bench
Terrence Williams played 23 minutes off the bench on Saturday, finishing with eight points, three assists, one steal and three turnovers.
Keith Smart seems keen on T-Will, though it's unlikely he'll carve out enough minutes to have reliable value in the Kings busy wing positions, especially once John Salmons (hip) returns to action.

Sat Mar 31 201215:12Terrence Williams signed for rest of season
King sign G/F Terrence Williams for the rest of the season.
T-Will has impressed coach Keith Smart, and should hang onto a spot in the rotation, but his minutes will take a serious hit once Tyreke Evans and John Salmons are healthy.

Sat Mar 31 201203:41Williams plays 22 minutes off the bench
Terrence Williams played 22 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with six rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block in 22 minutes.
Williams had a nice window open because of Tyreke Evans' (back) absence, and if anything he has won positive marks locally for the job he has done. Chuck Hayes said he was the team's best passer, and if not for the presence of Isaiah Thomas we'd be forced to make a snide joke about that. We're wondering when the honeymoon period will end, but Keith Smart has done well with DeMarcus Cousins and maybe Williams has found a home. He'll still need to show that he can earn more minutes before he's anything more than a deep league flier.

Fri Mar 30 201206:43Terrence Williams' role growing for Kings
Terrence Wililams' role is growing for the Kings.
Keith Smart had previously said Williams was earning the right to play more, and he's seen his playing time increase in each of his first three games. Beat writer Jason Jones believes Williams will play a consistent role in the rotation even when John Salmons (hip) returns. The 2009 No. 11 overall pick is averaging 7.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals on 52.9 percent shooting in just 14 minutes per game.

Tue Mar 27 201206:41Terrence Williams 'moving up the charts'
Keith Smart said that Terrence Williams is "moving up the charts" and is earning the right to play more frequently.
Williams had 10 points, three boards and two steals in just 17 minutes on Monday and appears to be making a quick impression in Sacramento. "He's playing well. He's playing within himself," Smart said. Beat writer Jason Jones believes Williams will likely stick around for the remainder of the season, but he'll have to get more consistent playing time to be worthy of fantasy consideration.

Sun Mar 25 201201:41T-Will makes Kings' debut on Saturday
Terrence Williams made his Jazz debut on Saturday, scoring five points in seven minutes off the bench.
T-Will has always been an intriguing talent, but the Kings are too stocked on the wings to think that he'll surface with fantasy value.

Fri Mar 23 201206:50Terrence Williams inactive on Thursday
Terrence Williams was inactive on Thursday because Coach Keith Smart wants a chance to familiarize himself with Williams' game.
"When you bring a guy in late in the season on a 10-day, it's not so much a games situation," Smart said. "It's more of getting to know a guy and is he a person that you want to move forward with to be a part of your team in summer and possibly into next year." Williams won't have fantasy value in Sacramento at this time as he competes for minutes with Tyreke Evans, John Salmons, Marcus Thornton, Francisco Garcia and Travis Outlaw

Wed Mar 21 201215:00Kings sign Terrence Williams to 10-day deal
Kings sign G/F Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract.
T-Will wasn't happy in Houston, where he'd fallen completely out of the rotation, but his prospects aren't too much better in Sacramento. He'll compete with a crowded wing rotation that includes Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thornton, John Salmons, Francisco Garcia, Travis Outlaw and Donte Greene.
