Sat Feb 1 201422:58Kyle Singler gets hot after Stuckey's exit
Kyle Singler hit 6-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 20 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and a block off the bench in Saturday's win.
He benefitted by Rodney Stuckey leaving after just nine minutes due to dizziness, while the Sixers' defense is historically bad. Singler is worth keeping an eye on, but as long as Stuckey's condition isn't serious, probably isn't worth owning in most leagues.

Fri Jan 10 201422:32Kyle Singler scores 16 points vs. Sixers
Kyle Singler saw some extra playing time against the Sixers on Friday, playing 36 minutes for 16 points, eight boards, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.
Coach Mo Cheeks messed around with his rotation tonight and used a little more of Singler at both spots on the wing. He has been up and down for most of the season, but fantasy owners in deeper leagues can give him a look for some low-end production.

Tue Dec 3 201322:52Kyle Singler hit career-high four 3-pointers
Kyle Singler came off the bench to hit 6-of-10 shots and a career-high four 3-pointers on his way to 18 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in 27 minutes.
Singler will have to do this a few more times before we're ready to pay him much attention.

Wed Nov 27 201317:32Kyle Singler dealing with eye issues
Kyle Singler dealt with eye irritation issues on Monday and is good to go for Wednesday's game against the Bulls.
He played just three minutes on Monday due to the issue. Singler is running with the second unit and hasn't done much this season outside of his one start while Josh Smith was being punished for missing shootaround last Friday, averaging 6.2 points in his 13 games off the bench.

Sun Nov 24 201317:58Kyle Singler scores 11 points vs. BK
Kyle Singler came back to Earth on Sunday with 11 points, six boards, one block and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
He scored 22 points on Friday thanks to the team punishing Josh Smith, so today's dropoff is far from surprising. Singler doesn't have much upside and is only worth owning in extremely deep leagues.

Sat Nov 23 201300:11Kyle Singler scores 22 points in 41 minutes
Kyle Singler scored a season-high 22 points in a start at small forward on Friday, adding three rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.
He was placed into the starting lineup with Josh Smith getting punished for missing practice. Singler maximized his chance tonight, but he's had his blips on the radar before. We'd need to see it again before suggesting picking him up in standard leagues.

Tue Oct 22 201322:42Kyle Singler plays well in start for Smith
Kyle Singler started at small forward Tuesday with Josh Smith resting, and had 14 points, four rebounds, a steal and three 3-pointers on 5-of-10 shooting.
It sounds like the plan is for the Pistons to start Chauncey Billups at shooting guard, which will leave Singler coming off the bench. And while he'll have some decent games off the bench, he'll likely be too inconsistent to be relied upon in fantasy.

Thu Oct 10 201318:05Kyle Singler starting at shooting guard Thurs
Kyle Singler will start at shooting guard for the Pistons on Thursday.
Coach Maurice Cheeks said his starting shooting guard for opening night will be either Rodney Stuckey or Chauncey Billups, so this is a somewhat surprising move. This is more of an experiment, but getting Singler minutes at shooting guard could help him gain value in deeper formats.

Mon Aug 12 201311:40Kyle Singler figures to get minutes with DET
Pistons assistant general manager George David said Kyle Singler will still have a "significant role" with the Pistons this upcoming season.
"I think he definitely will have a significant role," David said. "There's always a place for a guy who brings what Kyle Singler does. As far as his role with this specific team, that plays itself out as it does every year." The Pistons drafting a shooting guard in Kentavius Caldwell-Pope while adding Josh Smith and Chauncey Billups via free agency doesn't bode well for Singler. He won't be worth drafting in most leagues.

Tue May 14 201310:04Kyle Singler has weight-training goals
Kyle Singler has weight-training goals for the offseason.
Singler is expected to work on his game in all areas and there should be "improvements in all aspects," according to strength and conditioning coach Arnie Kander. Singler will also work on his stamina and conditioning before he enters his sophomore season.

Fri Mar 22 201323:18Kyle Singler gets off for 18 points
Kyle Singler had 18 points, eight rebounds and two 3-pointers in Friday's loss to the Heat.
Once a week, Singler seems to gets in the flow of the offense and score in double figures. That's what happens when you're the starting small forward on a bad team and play 27-29 minutes every night. There's just no fantasy upside because Singler doesn't help in any other categories when he's not scoring.

Thu Mar 14 201302:24Kyle Singler scores 17 in loss to Warriors
Kyle Singler hit 8-of-16 shots and a 3-pointer for 17 points, four rebounds and an assist in a loss to the Warriors on Wednesday.
Singler had scored 5, 6 and 9 points in his previous three games, so despite the fact he's starting for the Pistons, he's far from a reliable fantasy option at this point.

Sat Feb 23 201300:10Singler scores two poins in 14 minutes
Kyle Singler scored two points on 1-of-7 shooting with three rebounds in 14 minutes on Friday.
The Pistons were blown out but this is still a problem for owners. Even in deeper formats, owners can do better.

Sat Feb 9 201300:45Kyle Singler scores 14 points in 36 minutes
Kyle Singler scored 14 points with seven rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes during Friday's surprising 119-109 win over the Spurs.
The 119 points were a season-high for points in regulation for Detroit and they shot 51.7 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from downtown. Singler has been inconsistent since he was thrust into a bigger role with Tayshaun Prince out of town, so he's not quite in the discussion for standard leagues just yet.

Mon Feb 4 201323:16Kyle Singler takes a hit on Monday
Kyle Singler played just 25 minutes against the Knicks on Monday, scoring five points with two boards, one assist and one 3-pointer.
He played 40 minutes on Sunday, but Jose Calderon making his debut shifted Brandon Knight (five points and two assists on 2-of-10 shooting in 28 minutes) and Rodney Stuckey (14 points, seven boards, four assists and three steals in 30 minutes) to get more minutes at shooting guard. Both Stuckey and Knight look to be better assets in standard leagues than Singler.

Sun Feb 3 201315:48Kyle Singler plays 40 minutes in tough defeat
Kyle Singler had 11 points and six rebounds vs. the Lakers on Sunday, while playing a team-high 40 minutes.
Singler shot just 4-of-12 but he made two 3-pointers and seems to have stumbled into heavy minutes at SF in the wake of Detroit's recent trade. Jonas Jerebko scored five points in 10 minutes but he's ill-equipped to defend the SF position, and Singler makes a nice low-end pickup in eight-and nine-cat leagues.

Sat Feb 2 201301:03Singler scores 20 points against the Cavs
Kyle Singler scored 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds, two steals, and three blocks in 37 minutes on Friday against the Cavs.
Singler put up good defensive numbers but was otherwise pedestrian in his first start at SF, but against a bad Cavs team he was able to get loose tonight. Jose Calderon's insertion into the lineup should help Singler in many ways, but it will necessarily take the ball out his hands and tonight's touches will probably be the exception and not the rule. Still, after a night like this he's worth a look.

Wed Jan 30 201322:48Kyle Singler struggles in start at SF
Kyle Singler started at small forward on Wednesday and had five points, four rebounds, two steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 2-of-6 shooting in 30 minutes.
New position, more of the same lackluster production. Singler may stick as the starting small forward going forward, as the Pistons just don't have many options with Corey Maggette out of the rotation with hamstrings made of spaghetti, but we don't foresee a big boost to his value either way.

Wed Jan 30 201319:23Kyle Singler could move to small forward
Kyle Singler started at small forward on Wednesday, the day that Tayshaun Prince and Austin Daye were tentatively traded to the Grizzlies, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him stay there.
Singler's value wouldn't change much, and he really wasn't worth owning as a starting SG. He'll be worth keeping an eye on either way, but the potential position change shouldn't have a big impact on him, unless he ends up coming off the bench at either position.

Fri Jan 11 201309:49Kyle Singler's game falling off of late
Kyle Singler has not been playing well recently, averaging just 6.9 points on 35 percent shooting over 19 games since November.
Further, Singler is shooting just 25 percent from 3-point range. Singler continues to start, but he's played less than 20 minutes in consecutive games now. "It's an adjustment," Lawrence Frank said. He's really not an option in standard formats.
