A third of the Grizzlies' roster is questionable Wednesday with a stomach virus, and if Leuer cannot play, Zach Randolph could see an even bigger workload than usual.

Leuer posted 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during the Grizzlies' 119-93 win versus the Rockets on Monday.

Leuer had his best game of the season on Monday, turning in an extremely efficient performance. Everyone on the Grizzlies had it going on this night, and if Leuer can start to find some consistency he might hold some value in deeper leagues. Still, his upside is limited unless there is an injury to Zach Randolph or Marc Gasol.

Leuer is averaging 11.2 minutes off the bench this season during six games.

Leuer seems to be in the rotation but in limited fashion. Barring future injuries to the Grizzlies' frontcourt, Leuer is a hard player to justify owning at this point in the season.

The Grizzlies have needed to play from behind a lot, so they've went with more of an offensive option down low. He is worth a look in all leagues while he's hot like this, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him fall off in a hurry.

Leuer is getting some nice run right now with Ed Davis (ankle) and Marc Gasol (knee) out of action, and is averaging a shocking 15.4 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers on 50 percent shooting over his last five games. He's certainly worth using in any league for now, but things could get dicey once Davis is back.

Don't get too excited. Marc Gasol was resting, while Ed Davis and Zach Randolph started. Leuer is playing for a spot in the rotation and looked great, but the fact remains that he's going to have a hard time getting enough minutes as long as Gasol, Randolph and Davis are all healthy in front of him.

They didn't give Leuer a qualifying offer, but liked him enough to give him a million dollars per year over the next three seasons. Leuer is a tough, hard working big man, but isn't likely to ever be worth owning in most fantasy leagues.
