Mon Feb 20 201219:24Jannero Pargo pops off in bench role
Jannero Pargo went off for a season-high 19 points and five 3-pointers in 26 minutes during Monday's loss to the Bulls.
Pargo was the Hawks' best player on Monday, completely outplaying starter Jeff Teague and catching fire with his shot. Coach Larry Drew understandably stuck with his third point guard for extended minutes in the second half. Still, Pargo hadn't topped 14 minutes since Jan. 7. He's unlikely to replicate Monday's performance again this year.

Tue Dec 20 201112:34Jannero Pargo officially signs with Hawks
The Hawks have officially signed Jannero Pargo to a one-year contract.
His deal is non-guaranteed but has a good chance of sticking considering Kirk Hinrich is coming off of shoulder surgery. He'll only be relevant in fantasy circles if Jeff Teague goes down while Hinrich is also out.

Mon Dec 19 201117:17Report: Jannero Pargo to sign with Hawks
Jannero Pargo is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Hawks.
He'll immediately become the backup point guard until Kirk Hinrich is recovered from shoulder surgery, but would only offer real fantasy value if Jeff Teague suffers an injury.

Fri Dec 16 201117:57Bulls waive G Jannero Pargo
Although it's just a technicality, the Bulls officially waived Jannero Pargo on Friday.
After waiving former starting SG Keith Bogans earlier on Friday, the Bulls continued their housecleaning by waiving third-string PG Jannero Pargo as well. Pargo will look to latch on with a new team as a backup PG and Chicago's roster now stands at 13.

Mon Nov 28 201109:22Jannero Pargo's option won't be picked up
The Chicago Tribute reports that Jannero Pargo's contract option won't be picked up for the 2011-12 season.
Additionally, the Bulls reportedly have no plans to use the amnesty clause this offseason. Pargo should be able to latch on with another team as a reserve point guard at the end of the bench, but he won't have any fantasy value regardless of where he ends up.

Sun Mar 20 201113:58Bulls sign Jannero Pargo

Pargo gives Chicago another steady veteran presence off the bench, and he can play either guard position, but he won't have any fantasy value.

Sat Mar 19 201109:59Jannero Pargo headed to Chicago?
The Bulls are apparently "leaning toward" signing guard Jannero Pargo for backcourt depth.
Pargo could fill out the depth chart without offering any fantasy value, and it's not even certain that the Bulls will sign him.

Tue Oct 5 201015:24Hornets waive Jannero Pargo
The Hornets have waived backup guard Jannero Pargo.
So much for Pargo reuniting with CP3 and the Hornets. He's coming off knee surgery and is a lifetime 38% shooter, so fantasy owners shouldn't worry too much about where he lands.
Fri Sep 24 201020:07Hornets sign backup PG Jannero Pargo
The Hornets signed combo guard Jannero Pargo on Friday.
It's a homecoming for Pargo, whose performance in the 2008 playoffs endeared him to many of the Hornet faithful. He's the early favorite to backup Chris Paul, whose injury concerns make the backup job worth watching, but Pargo's 38.3% lifetime shooting percentage leaves a lot to be desired.

Wed Sep 8 201010:44Warriors unlikely to sign Jannero Pargo
The Warriors are unlikely to sign backup guard Jannero Pargo this summer.
Pargo underwent knee surgery this offseason, and Golden State seems more inclined to sign another big man to fill out their frontcourt. He had a rough season with the Bulls in 2009-10 but hopefully he'll be healthy and employed before long.

Sat Aug 14 201018:19Warriors may not sign Jannero Pargo
The Warriors have yet to sign FA guard Jannero Pargo, and are reportedly in "wait-and-see mode."
The team may end up adding a big man rather than a guard, and even if they do fill out the backcourt there is no guarantee that Pargo will be their guy -- they reportedly have interest in veteran PG Earl Watson.

Tue Jul 27 201017:04Warriors sign Jannero Pargo for two years
The Warriors and free agent guard Jannero Pargo have reached an agreement on a two-year contract worth $2.4 million.
The undersized (6'1", 185 lbs) combo guard shot just 35% from the field with Chicago last year, and isn't likely to see much action in the GSW backcourt.
