Sun Jun 20 201017:43Kouzmanoff goes 4-for-4 with a homer in win
Kevin Kouzmanoff went 4-for-4 with a solo homer against the Cardinals on Sunday.
He singled twice and doubled in addition to his homer, but was left with just the one RBI and one run scored thanks to a poor performance from the rest of his hitters. Kouzmanoff was 1-for-15 entering the game after snapping a 15-game hit streak, but he appears to be right back on track now. He's a borderline mixed league option at the moment.

Kevin Kouzmanoff went 3-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored as the A's beat the Cubs 9-5 on Tuesday.

Thu May 27 201022:15Kouzmanoff drives in three as A's top O's
Kevin Kouzmanoff collected three RBI Thursday in the A's 7-5 defeat of the Orioles at Camden Yards.
Gabe Gross opened the game's scoring with a two-run homer in the top of the second inning and Kouzmanoff poured on some points later with a three-run double in the eighth. Kouz is batting .260 this year with nine doubles and 24 RBI as Oakland's starting third baseman.
Sun Apr 25 201018:35Kouzmanoff returns to lineup for A's
Kevin Kouzmanoff, who was scratched from yesterday's game due to a sore foot, returned to the lineup on Sunday and went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the Athletics' 11-0 route of the Indians.
The Athletics collected 15 hits and five walks in the contest, with Eric Chavez and Eric Patterson adding three RBI apiece as well. Apparently the foot injury isn't an issue for Kouz, so keep him active this week.

Thu Apr 22 201001:04Kouzmanoff dropped in order, goes hitless
Dropped from the cleanup spot for the first time this season, Kevin Kouzmanoff went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts Wednesday in the loss to the Yankees.
Kouzmanoff hit sixth tonight, and that's right where he belongs in a major league lineup. The A's don't have a legitimate cleanup man, but with his pathetic OBPs, Kouzmanoff should never have occupied the spot. He's hitting .210 with six RBI and just three walks through 62 at-bats.
Tue Apr 6 201001:03Kouzmanoff has terrible debut for A's
Kevin Kouzmanoff went 0-for-4, grounded into two double plays and committed a huge error in the ninth inning of the A's loss to the Mariners on Monday.
Not exactly a smashing debut. But the A's are foolishly asking Kouzmanoff to be something he's not, and that's a cleanup hitter. He's a steady fielder and someone with enough power to justify a lineup spot, preferably one below several superior hitters. Tonight, though, he was simply terrible. Already 0-for-3, he killed a rally in the eighth with his second double-play ball of the game, and in the ninth, he took what should have been an inning-ending grounder and threw high to first, opening the door for the Mariners to score a pair of runs. He's already one-third of the way to his 2009 error total with the Padres.
