Jason Bartlett missed a cycle by a homer and scored three times Monday against the Red Sox. | ||||||
Bartlett took advantage of the sloppy Red Sox defense minus Jacoby Ellsbury and Mike Cameron. After a clean double in the first, he hit a liner to left that was ruled a single and an error in the third. His triple in the fourth was originally called a double and an error on Bill Hall. The two extra-base hits doubled Bartlett's total for the season. He was hitting just .208/.269/.250 through 11 games. | ||||||
