Tue Jun 20 2023 | 19:45 | Aaron Judge Turning A Corner? |
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that he feels like outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) is turning a corner in his rehab, although he hasn't done any baseball activities yet. Most of the swelling in his toe is gone and he is able to do more things on his toe from a balance standpoint. It comes after Judge received a second platelet-rich plasma injection in his big right toe. Once the 31-year-old All-Star slugger resumes baseball activities, a minor-league rehab assignment shouldn't be far off, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him to return until July. Judge still leads the league in slugging percentage (.674) and OPS (1.078) while hitting .291 (51-for-175) with 10 doubles, 19 home runs, 40 RBI and 42 runs scored in 49 games played. He's obviously a must-stash in all fantasy leagues. |

Fri Jun 16 2023 | 17:37 | Aaron Judge Receives Another Injection In His Toe |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) received another platelet-rich plasma injection in his toe on Thursday, according to manager Aaron Boone. Judge was still experiencing lingering soreness in one of the two ligaments in his toe, and the new shot pinpointed the second ligament. The team hopes this will speed up the process towards Judge starting baseball activities. The 31-year-old All-Star slugger has been out with a sprained right toe since June 3, and there remains no timetable for his return. Fantasy managers can do nothing but be patient and keep him stashed in an IL spot. At this point, Judge may not return to the Yankees before the All-Star break in mid-July. With Judge out of action, Jake Bauers and Willie Calhoun have been splitting playing time in right field in the Bronx. |

Tue Jun 13 2023 | 12:27 | No Timetable For Aaron Judge's Return |
There remains no timetable for New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge's (toe) return to the lineup. Manager Aaron Boone has insisted over the past week that the team won't have an accurate timetable until the swelling in Judge's sprained right big toe dissipates, which remains a work in progress. "There's still a bunch of stuff going on in there," Judge said Sunday. "But improvements each day, which has been a good sign. No step backs or any holdups. We're on the right track." The Yankees aren't going to rush the All-Star slugger back before he's fully ready, so fantasy managers will need to remain patient. As of Sunday, Judge said he had "no idea" when he'd start baseball activities. The Yanks have been rolling with an outfield combination of Billy McKinney, Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Willie Calhoun and Jake Bauers. |

Sat Jun 10 2023 | 13:44 | Aaron Judge Has Swelling Decrease In His Injured Toe |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) has had the swelling decrease in his sprained right big toe and has opted against using a walking boot. The team updated reporters earlier this week on the 31-year-old slugger's status. While he still has no timetable for his return it's encouraging to hear that the swelling has gone down and a walking boot isn't necessary. He will be out at least until June 14, which would mark the end of his minimum IL stay, but there's a chance it could be a little longer if he has a setback. The Yankees should provide another update at the end of the weekend. |

Tue Jun 6 2023 | 23:20 | Aaron Judge Hitting 10-Day Injured List With Injured Toe |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) is headed to the 10-day injured list with a contusion and a sprain in his right big toe, per skipper Aaron Boone. The 31-year-old made an admirable catch to rob J.D. Martinez of an extra-base hit on Saturday, but at the cost of crashing into the bullpen fence in right field at Dodger Stadium which caused the damage to his toe. Judge doesn't have a clear timetable for a return at this juncture, but fantasy managers will be relieved to hear there's no break or fracture. The 2022 AL MVP will be shelved for at least a week, though, and his AL-high 19 homers to along with an MLB-best .674 SLG and 1.078 OPS will be sorely missed by both the Yankees and fantasy managers alike for however long the superstar is sidelined. |

Tue Jun 6 2023 | 12:52 | Aaron Judge Won't Play Tuesday |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) will not be in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox, according to manager Aaron Boone. The Yankees will get a diagnosis later on Tuesday that will determine whether Judge needs to go on the injured list. Fantasy managers are nervously awaiting that decision. The 31-year-old All-Star injured his right toe when he crashed into the outfield wall on Saturday against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and he might need some more time to recover. Judge has been hot in his last eight games, going 9-for-29 (.310) with two doubles, five home runs and seven RBI, and he obviously remains a must-start when he's in the lineup. Overall, the record-setting home run hitter is hitting .291 (51-for-175), and he leads the league with 19 home runs, a .674 slugging percentage and a 1.078 OPS in 49 games. |

Mon Jun 5 2023 | 09:42 | Aaron Judge To Undergo Additional Testing |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) has been sidelined since injuring his toe during Saturday's contest. The organization fears Judge might've broken his big toe, which would obviously send him to the injured list. That being said, the Yankees will have Judge undergo additional testing on Monday. The Yankees are off on Monday, so if it's a minor issue then possibly he returns for their next game. Fantasy managers will have to check back later on Monday for additional information. |

Sun Jun 4 2023 | 19:43 | Aaron Judge Held Out On Sunday |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (toe) is being held out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The right-handed slugger suffered a minor toe injury during Saturday's contest. As a result, the Yankees are going to have Judge sit out this contest. Manager Aaron Boone said Judge is sore and getting treatment, so he's unsure if Judge is going to be available off the bench during this game. The Yankees have a scheduled off day on Monday, so hopefully Judge is ready to play again on Tuesday. In the meantime, Willie Calhoun, Isiah Kiner-Falefa and Jake Bauers will cover the outfield versus right-hander Bobby Miller on Sunday. |

Tue May 16 2023 | 00:24 | Aaron Judge Hits Two More Homers Monday |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge continued his power surge in Monday's 7-4 win over the Blue Jays. Judge went 2-for-2 with two solo home runs, three RBI, and three walks. The 2022 American League Most Valuable Player has more or less started the season as fantasy managers expected, slashing .274/.376/.581 with 10 HR, 24 RBI, and two stolen bases in 141 plate appearances. He has now hit four HR in his last three games and should continue to be an elite power source for fantasy managers. |

New York Yankees designated hitter Aaron Judge led his club to a comeback win over the Rays on Saturday. The reigning AL MVP homered twice, crushing a 382-foot shot to right-center in the fifth and following that up with a 439-foot bomb to left in the sixth inning. He also had four RBI, his most in a game this season. Judge went yard for the first time since coming off the injured list, so fantasy managers hope this is a sign of things to come. |

Tue May 9 2023 | 14:06 | Aaron Judge Comes Off Injured List, Oswald Peraza Goes On It |
The New York Yankees officially reinstated outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and placed infield prospect Oswald Peraza (ankle) on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to May 6) in a corresponding move with a right-ankle sprain. The team also recalled right-hander Greg Weissert from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Judge is back after missing under two weeks with a strained right hip. It will obviously be a big boost to the Yankees and fantasy managers. Get him back in all starting lineups immediately. The 31-year-old slugger returns to a .261 average (24-for-92) with five doubles, six home runs and 14 RBI in 26 games. Peraza's ankle injury isn't very serious, so he should be ready to return when eligible on May 16. The 22-year-old has just six hits in 32 at-bats (.188 average) and is still searching for his first home run in 2023. |

Mon May 8 2023 | 16:39 | Aaron Judge Will Return On Tuesday |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) will make his return to the starting lineup on Tuesday versus the Oakland Athletics. The right-handed slugger has been officially activated from the injured list prior to this contest. Luckily, Judge only required the minimum stint on the injured list due to a right hip strain. Before that, Judge was hitting .261/.352/.511 with six home runs, 14 RBI over 26 games. The expectation is that he'll slide into the lineup on Tuesday without any restrictions. |

Sat May 6 2023 | 22:00 | Aaron Judge On Track To Return Tuesday |
New York Yankees star outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) is on track to be activated ahead of Tuesday's series against the Oakland A's. He continues to perform running and hitting drills and is set to return to action when first eligible. The 31-year-old has been sidelined with a strained right hip. He is slashing .261/.352/.511 with six home runs, 14 RBI, 18 runs, and two stolen bases over 26 games in 2023. Judge has underperformed a little so far this season but should provide a boost for fantasy managers once he returns to action. |

Mon May 1 2023 | 18:09 | Aaron Judge Hits Injured List With Hip Strain |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hip strain. The move is retroactive to April 28 while fellow outfielder Franchy Cordero was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move. The 2022 AL MVP was not scheduled to be in Monday's starting lineup against the Cleveland Guardians but was apparently set to take batting practice prior to the contest. The superstar hasn't appeared in a game since leaving an April 27 contest against the Rangers after two plate appearances as the club proceeds cautiously with their best player. Judge is hitting .261 with six homers, two stolen bases, and an .863 OPS through 26 games to begin the season while it's unclear if Judge will be able to return from the IL when first eligible May 7. |

Mon May 1 2023 | 17:03 | Aaron Judge Taking Batting Practice Monday |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) will take batting practice with the team before their game on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians. Judge is not in the starting lineup against Guardians right-hander Cal Quantrill, but he will test his hip in batting practice before the Yankees make a decision on whether to place him on the injured list. The 31-year-old slugger hasn't played since being removed from last Thursday's game early due to right-hip discomfort, and fantasy managers should prepare for him to potentially miss more time if he lands on the IL. If Judge does go on the IL on Monday, Willie Calhoun, who is starting in right field on Monday, would be in line to continue seeing more playing time in the Bronx. |

The 31-year-old slugger will miss his fourth game in a row due to a mild right hip strain. The Yankees haven't placed Judge on the injured list yet, which means he might require one. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for another update on Judge's status. In the meantime, Willie Calhoun will cover right field and bat fifth versus right-hander Cal Quantrill on Monday. |

Mon May 1 2023 | 14:00 | Decision On Aaron Judge Coming Soon |
New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said the team will make a decision within the next couple of hours about whether to put outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) on the injured list. Judge hasn't played since last Thursday, when he had an awkward head-first slide into third base that led to right-hip discomfort. Even if he doesn't go on the injured list, he won't play on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians. An MRI exam showed no structural damage to Judge's hip, but he could still need an IL stint as a precaution. Fantasy managers need to prepare for the possibility that the record-setting superstar could miss more time this week. The 31-year-old is currently hitting .261 (24-for-92) with five doubles, six home runs, 14 RBI and two steals in 26 games played. |

Sat Apr 29 2023 | 18:08 | Aaron Judge Has Mild Hip Strain |
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (hip) was diagnosed with a mild strain near the top of his hip. Manager Aaron Boone already said the injured list was a possibility, but now the Yankees have a little more clarity on the situation. The team would like to wait to see if it improves but hope to make a decision by Monday. If Judge needs to go on the IL, the Yankees could back-date it to Friday, and waiting any longer will push up the date they are able to do so. |
