Outman reported some discomfort in his surgically-repaired elbow in mid-June and the A's are going to take every precaution toward ensuring that he doesn't re-injure anything. For now, he's considered out "indefinitely." | ||||||

Josh Outman (elbow) has experienced some flexor tendon discomfort recently, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. | ||||||
Slusser notes that Joey Devine went through similar discomfort during his recovery from Tommy John surgery and eventually required platelet-rich plasma injections. That's not to say that Outman will go the same route, but it could certainly be a consideration should he continue to feel pain. | ||||||
