Thu Mar 10 2022 | 14:57 | Bones Hyland Might Play Thursday |
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (knee) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Golden State Warriors. He was playing well earlier in the month, but has been dealing with a lingering knee issue lately. Austin Rivers, Monte Morris, and Bryn Forbes have been picking up the slack. Morris is by far the best fantasy option between the three and should be rostered in most fantasy formats. All three of them should continue to see increased roles while Hyland and Will Barton (ankle) are banged up. |

Wed Mar 9 2022 | 21:17 | Will Barton, Bones Hyland Sidelined On Wednesday |
Denver Nuggets forward Will Barton (ankle) and guard Bones Hyland (knee) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. Barton sat out on Monday and still isn't ready to get back on the court. Austin Rivers is expected to slide into the starting five with Barton out. He'll have decent streaming appeal with the Nuggets shorthanded. The loss of Hyland should benefit Rivers, Bryn Forbes, and Monte Morris. Both Morris and Rivers are looking like useful fantasy options on Wednesday. |

Mon Feb 28 2022 | 14:42 | Bones Hyland Exits Sunday's Game With Ankle Soreness |
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland (ankle) was removed from Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers due to left ankle soreness. He played less than a minute in the game before his removal and he didn't return to the court. The rookie has been seeing around 20 minutes per game off the bench lately. He averaged 8.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 threes per game in February. The Nuggets' next game is against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. If Hyland is unable to play, we could see Davon Reed or Markus Howard earn some extra minutes. |

Fri Feb 11 2022 | 18:27 | Bones Hyland Draws First Career Start Friday |
Denver Nuggets point/shooting guard Bones Hyland has been tabbed as the team's starting point guard for Friday's game against the Celtics in place of Monte Morris (concussion). Hyland has averaged 8.6 PPG across 17.7 minutes on a nightly basis off the bench for Denver, with his starting gig likely to elevate him into significant consideration on the DFS slate. A first-round Draft selection in 2021, Hyland has shot just 36.6 percent overall from the floor, a number that likely keeps him on the outside looking in of roster spots in the vast majority of season-long formats. Nikola Jokic and Facundo Campazzo stand to have elevated assists upside in the wake of Morris' absence as well. |

Wed Dec 1 2021 | 13:59 | Bones Hyland To Miss Extended Time |
Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland has entered the league's health and safety protocols. This couldn't come at a worse time for the Nuggets who are already shorthanded. The hope is that Hyland will only miss a week or two of action, but that remains to be seen. Facundo Campazzo and a handful of others will be asked to pick up the slack. Although, it's uncertain if any of them are worth rostering right now. |

Denver Nuggets guard Bones Hyland hit four triples with eight attempts and shot 5-for-9 overall from the field en route to an 18-point performance in Sunday's 145-95 win over the Blazers.
