Miami Marlins pitching prospect Max Meyer will be promoted from Double-A to Triple-A to finish out the 2021 season. Meyer is MLB Pipeline's No. 31 overall prospect and he was exceptional at Double-A Pensacola this year. Over 20 starts, he posted a 2.41 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP while averaging 10.1 K/9. The 22-year-old could find himself making his MLB debut next year if he continues to progress well. The Marlins have a ton of pitching options across their organization, but few have as high upside as Meyer, who was selected third overall by the team in the 2020 MLB Draft.
