The New York Mets will be calling up starting pitcher
David Peterson from Triple-A on Tuesday. He will start one of the games in the Tuesday's doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves while
Carlos Carrasco will start the other game. Peterson made three appearances (two starts) with the Mets this year before he was sent down to Triple-A. He pitched well over those three outings, tossing 14 innings and allowing nine hits, five walks and just one earned run while striking out 10. However, he'll have a tough matchup on Tuesday against a Braves offense that just welcomed superstar outfielder
Ronald Acuna Jr. back to the lineup.
