The former undrafted free agent out of UCF originally signed with Carolina in 2009. He returns after spending time with multiple clubs over the past few seasons. He'll serve as depth along the offensive line.

Vikings re-signed OT Patrick Brown to a one-year, $540,000 contract.
The backup tackle was scheduled to hit exclusive rights free agency. Brown saw significant playing time in just one game last season.

The Vikings are apparently going to kick swing tackle Ryan Cook inside to right guard, replacing Anthony Herrera (torn ACL). Brown shouldn't see any playing time behind LT Bryant McKinnie and RT Phil Loadholt.

The 23-year-old just narrowly missed out on being a part of Minnesota's 53, as the Vikes went for the higher draft pick in Ryan Cook. Brown will work as a developmental prospect in New York behind RT Damien Woody.
