Sat Aug 3 201314:30Steelers sign ex-Cardinals OT Batiste
Steelers signed OT D'Anthony Batiste, formerly of the Cardinals.
Batiste, 31, started ten games at left tackle for the Cardinals last season, and was arguably the worst lineman in all of football. He surrendered seven sacks and a whopping 35 hurries in those ten contests. Batiste will compete with Guy Whimper for a backup spot behind starters Marcus Gilbert and Mike Adams.

Mon Nov 5 201211:21D'Anthony Batiste finally benched
Cardinals LT D'Anthony Batiste was benched in favor of Nate Potter during Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Packers.
Finally. Batiste has been the worst left tackle in the league this season and is a big reason why the Cardinals' offensive line reached historically bad proportions. Potter is a seventh-round rookie, but he can't do much worse. Expect him to start in Week 11 when the Cardinals come out of their bye.

Wed Aug 29 201210:33Batiste in driver's seat for Cardinals LT
D'Anthony Batiste is in the driver's seat for the Cardinals starting LT job.
"Our hopes were he was going to take the right tackle position . and be a backup for left tackle," said head coach Ken Whisenhunt. But with incumbent starting LT Levi Brown on IR with a triceps injury, Batiste has asserted himself at the position. The preseason finale will ultimately decide whether the Cardinals roll with Batiste or seek out a veteran like Alex Barron or Chad Clifton.

Tue Aug 21 201211:14Batiste favorite for left-tackle duties?
Unless second-year pro D.J. Young "wows" the coaching staff, the Arizona Republic expects journeyman D'Anthony Batiste to be named the Cardinals' left tackle.
Batiste was beginning to assert himself at right tackle before LT Levi Brown's season-threatening triceps injury. Beat writer Kent Somers believes rookie Bobby Massie will be the favorite to start at right tackle if Batiste is shifted to the blindside. An eight-year veteran, Batiste has appeared in 22 total games for six different teams, making just four starts. Protection is going to be a huge issue for presumptive quarterback John Skelton.

Tue Aug 14 201218:08Batiste will start at right tackle for Cards
D'Anthony Batiste will replace Jeremy Bridges as the starting right tackle in the second preseason game.
The hope was that rookie Bobby Massie would emerge as the starter, but he continues to run with the second team. Bridges, meanwhile, is working as the second-string right guard. The offensive line remains a major concern in Arizona.
