Free agent WR David Anderson has been invited to Seahawks minicamp on a tryout basis.
Anderson is joining Antonio Bryant as a veteran wideout getting a look in Seattle's final workouts before camp. Anderson appeared in six games between the Texans and Redskins last season, making seven catches. He'd be little more than a camp body in Seattle.

Redskins declared WR David Anderson inactive for Week 15 against the Giants.
Anderson is a healthy scratch as newly signed run-blocking tight end Richard Quinn is up. Look for the 'Skins to attempt a run-heavy approach with Roy Helu. The rest of their inactives: RB Ryan Torain, FB Mike Sellers, T Jammal Brown, DL Kentwan Balmer and LB Markus White.

Tue Nov 8 201103:44Redskins sign WR David Anderson
The Redskins signed former Texans wide receiver David Anderson on Monday.
The turf toe injury to rookie Niles Paul opened up a receiver slot in Washington, and Anderson's prior experience with OC Kyle Shanahan helped seal the deal. He will not have any fantasy value as a Redskin.

Thu Oct 7 201022:50Anderson a candidate for increased snaps
Texans WR David Anderson is a candidate for increased snaps this week with Andre Johnson (ankle) and Jacoby Jones (calf) both classified as game-time decisions.
Don't go picking him up just yet. Signs are pointing toward Johnson playing this week, and coach Gary Kubiak is hopeful that Jones will at least return to a limited practice on Friday. If Jones misses Sunday's game, Anderson wouldn't be a fantasy option as the No. 3 receiver.
