Thu Jun 19 201419:46Michael Robinson believes career is over
Free agent FB Michael Robinson believes his career is likely over.
Robinson turned 31 in February, and wasn't re-signed by the Seahawks. "I still love Sundays," Robinson said. "Monday through Saturday gets difficult." Coach Pete Carroll said earlier this month that he had "talked to Robinson about coaching one day." Robinson has one foot out the NFL door, but remained a competent lead blocker last season. He could get calls in camp or September.

Thu Feb 20 201411:26Michael Robinson to stick for one more year?
The Seattle Times guesses that the Seahawks will bring back free agent FB Michael Robinson for one more year.
It would be a luxury re-signing for the Seahawks. Robinson is a popular team leader and strong lead blocker, but he played on just 36-of-186 snaps (19.3 percent) during the three playoff wins. Derrick Coleman and Spencer Ware are candidates to step up if Robinson isn't retained.

Tue Oct 22 201312:05Seahawks aign FB Michael Robinson
Seahawks signed FB Michael Robinson.
Robinson was released by the Seahawks during final cuts, but is now needed with Derrick Coleman (hamstring) and Spencer Ware (ankle) both sidelined. He was Seattle's starting fullback the previous three seasons, so it's not a downgrade to Marshawn Lynch and the running game.

Fri Aug 30 201320:42Seahawks cut veteran lead blocker Robinson
Seahawks released FB Michael Robinson.
Robinson broke the news on his Twitter account. Robinson is one of the league's better lead blockers and special teamers, but was due a hefty $2.5 million, and was out indefinitely with an "illness." Rookie Spencer Ware should not pave the way for Marshawn Lynch and company. Robinson is now on the wrong side of 30, but will almost certainly find work this season.

Thu Aug 29 201316:26Hawks FB Robinson sidelined with illness
Seahawks FB Michael Robinson (illness) has missed the last 10 days of practice and "could be out for a few weeks."
Some believe Robinson is on the roster bubble in Seattle. It's hard to see a team like the Seahawks, who are in win-now mode, cutting a special teams leader and trusted lead blocker like Robinson. Sixth-round FB Spencer Ware is on the outside looking in. He'd be easier to retain via practice squad.

Wed Jul 17 201310:16Michael Robinson expected to stick with SEA
ESPN 710 says it's "hard to imagine" the Seahawks cutting FB Michael Robinson.
Robinson is owed $2.5 million in 2013 and the Seahawks used a sixth-round pick on 228-pound RB/FB Spencer Ware. But Robinson has Marshawn Lynch's trust as a lead blocker and is a special teams captain. He has a ton of value that doesn't show up in the box score.

Mon Oct 29 201218:44Two Seahawks seeing specialists for wrist inj
Seahawks FB Michael Robinson and WR Ben Obomanu are seeing a specialist for their wrist injuries on Monday.
Both players were injured in Sunday's loss to the Lions. Robinson was a Pro Bowler last season, but Obomanu is primarily a special teams player. If Robinson was forced to miss time, we could see some two-running back sets with Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin in Week 9 against the Vikings.

Sun Sep 11 201118:44Seahawks FB Robinson has high ankle sprain
Seahawks FB Michael Robinson could miss up to eight weeks with a high left ankle sprain.
NFL teams don't keep injured special teamers around on the game-day inactives list, so Robinson is a candidate for I.R. The Seahawks did have three or four fullbacks in their training camp and could re-sign one of them shortly.

Seahawks declared RB Michael Robinson, CB Kelly Jennings, CB Walter Thurmond III, LB Matt McCoy, OL Allen Barbre, OT Russell Okung, DT Brandon Mebane, and TE Anthony McCoy inactive for Week 8.
The Seahawks are really thin on corners without Jennings and Thurmond. Unfortunately, the Raiders' No. 1 receiver in Week 8 will be Darrius Heyward-Bey. Expect a run-dominated game plan from Oakland on Sunday.
