Sun Sep 20 201512:08Jenkins inactive Sunday against Saints
Jenkins is inactive Sunday against the Saints, Greg Auman of the Tampa Times reports.
Jenkins is the backup at right cornerback to Jonathan Banks. He typcially provides depth at the position, and the Bucs could've used that depth against the potent Saints' passing game.

Jenkins (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Jenkins missed the Bucs' ugly Week 1 loss to the Titans, but his presence likely wouldn't have made any difference, as he only appears to be the fourth or fifth cornerback.
Thu Sep 17 201522:42Jenkins (hamstring) limited participant in Thursday's practice
Jenkins (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Joe Kania of the team's official website reports.
Jenkins was inactive in the opener with the injury, and has still only stepped on the field for one game in just over a season with the team. Despite the fact that a pectoral injury caused him to miss 15 games in his first season with the Bucs, the team sufficiently valued his experience and depth to re-sign him to a 1-year deal in the offseason. The eighth-year pro played in all four of the Bucs' preseason contests, totaling six tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble. Jenkins is currently slotted as the third-string right cornerback behind Tim Jennings and starter Johnthan Banks.
Thu Mar 5 201516:31The Buccaneers re-signed Jenkins (pectoral) on Thursday
The Buccaneers re-signed Jenkins (pectoral) on Thursday, Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune reports.
A first-round draft pick of the Cowboys back in 2008, Jenkins was limited to just one game in 2014, after suffering a pectoral injury in Week 1. He'll likely compete for the nickelback job in 2015, as the Bucs figure to stick with Alterraun Verner and Johnathan Banks as the starting corners.
Wed Sep 10 201411:14Jenkins placed on injured reserve due to pectoral injury
Jenkins has been placed on injured reserve due to a pectoral injury, ruling him out for the remainder of this season, FOX Sports reports.
Jenkins left late in Sunday's season opener with what has initially termed as a shoulder injury, but judging by the latest report, it appears the veteran cornerback tore his pectoral muscle. Nonetheless, Jenkins' 2014 season is now over, opening a starting cornerback position for the Buccaneers. With the most likely candidate to replace Jenkins, Johnthan Banks, suffering a head injury Sunday, Tampa Bay's secondary enters this week's game against the Rams with questions in their secondary.

Jenkins suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's regular season opener and will not return, Sports Talk Florida reports.
Jenkins entered Week 1 with a hamstring injury, but now carries a shoulder issue as well. Furthermore, with Johnthan Banks nursing a head injury, the Buccaneers are increasingly thin at cornerback for the remainder of Sunday's contest.
Sun Sep 7 201415:17Jenkins (hamstring) active for Sunday's game against Carolina
Jenkins (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game against Carolina, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Jenkins is out there if you need him Sunday, but a wait-and-see approach is in order for IDP owners, with Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks also in the team's cornerback mix.
Fri Sep 5 201418:29Jenkins (hamstring) probable for Sunday's game against Carolina
Jenkins (hamstring) is probable for Sunday's game against Carolina.
Jenkins will suit up Sunday, but he'll likely be no more than the team's third corner behind Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks. He's not likely to be an IDP factor.

Jenkins (hamstring) will be eased into the lineup Sunday against the Panthers, ESPN.com reports.
Jenkins, who missed nearly a month with an injured hamstring, is still listed as a starting cornerback on the team's depth chart. He should play in Sunday's season opener versus Carolina after he returned to practice this week, but will likely split time with Johnthan Banks opposite Alterraun Verner.

Jenkins (leg) will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Bills, Roy Cummings of the Tampa Bay Tribune reports.
Jenkins has been sidelined with a lower-leg injury since before the first preseason game. With Jenkins missing both preseason games and fellow corner Alterraun Verner dealing with his own injury, the Buccaneers is perilously thin in the secondary with only two weeks remaining until the regular season begins.

Mike Jurecki of XTRA Phoenix is hearing the Cardinals "have interest" in free agent CB Mike Jenkins.
Jenkins has experience at both outside and inside corner and could replace Antoine Cason behind Patrick Peterson and Jerraud Powers. Jenkins hasn't had a truly good season in awhile, but is under 30 and has never lacked talent.

Sat Feb 1 201417:02Raiders not expected to re-sign CB Jenkins
The Raiders are not expected to re-sign free agent CB Mike Jenkins.
Jenkins was an every-down player at left corner this season, finishing with 65 tackles and two interceptions over 15 starts. With Tracy Porter also set to become a free agent, he'll likely have to accept a team-friendly deal to be brought back. Porter and D.J. Hayden are expected to be the Raiders' starting corners in 2013.

Tue Nov 26 201319:51Mike Jenkins expected to be active vs. DAL
Raiders CB Mike Jenkins (concussion) is expected to be active for Thursday's game against the Cowboys.
Jenkins has been practicing in a limited fashion this week. The Raiders are racing both Jenkins and TE Mychal Rivera through the concussion protocol at an uncomfortably fast rate, especially considering the league-wide climate on concussions. Either way, they're both expected to be out there on the big stage.

Jenkins has been an every-down player at left corner for the Raiders all season. Although he's struggled mightily in pass coverage, his likely absence on Thanksgiving is still good news for Tony Romo and company.
