Fri Mar 15 201313:57Colts release Tom Zbikowski
Colts released S Tom Zbikowski.
28-year-old Zbikowski was owed a $1.5 million base salary. His release saves the Colts just over $1 million versus the cap, not that they needed the room. In 11 starts last year, Zbikowski managed 38 tackles, one interception, and one sack. Assuming he doesn't take up boxing full time, Zbikowski should be able to latch on elsewhere as a third safety and special teams gunner.
