Sun Aug 14 2011 | 16:48 | Report: Becht works out for Falcons |
Free agent TE Anthony Becht reportedly worked out for the Falcons Sunday. |
The blocking specialist was out of the league last season after playing 158 of 160 games from 2000-2009. Becht had been taking on a bigger role in the media, so we're surprised to hear he was in Flowery Branch to get a look-see from the Falcons. |

Sun Sep 5 2010 | 13:23 | Dolphins don't have interest in Becht |
According to beat writer Armando Salguero, the Dolphins have no interest in free agent TE Anthony Becht. |
Salguero cites a league source for his information. Becht can still block, but he's 33 years old and couldn't beat out Stephen Spach. The Dolphins are thin at TE and Becht is a Bill Parcells favorite, so he may have a hard time finding a job before Week 1. |
