McCourty (groin) will play against the Bills this Sunday, ESPN's Paul Kuharsky reports.
McCourty missed the first three weeks of the season after undergoing groin surgery during the preseason, but it appears as if he is good to go for Sunday's game against the Bills. He will likely fill-in at cornerback opposite of free-agent acquistion Perrish Cox.

McCourty (groin) expects to play in Week 5 following Tennessee's bye week, the Titans' official site reports. "I'll be playing in the Buffalo game", he said Tuesday.
The team's top corner missed the first three weeks of the season due to an August groin surgery, but was able to practice with the team last week before ultimately being ruled inactive. Perrish Cox should continue to start, but McCourty's return will probably move Coty Sensabaugh back into a reserve role.

McCourty (groin) is inactive Sunday against the Colts.
Cody Sensabaugh will take over for McCourty, significantly hurting the Titans' pass defense against Andrew Luck and the Colts receivers.

McCourty (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, the Tennessean reports.
McCourty was listed as a full practice participant Friday, but he's still not a lock to suit up Sunday, thus making a wait-and-see approach prudent for those considering him in IDP formats.

McCourty (groin) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of titansonline.com reports.
McCourty practiced for the first time since August when he underwent groin surgery. His status for Sunday's game against the Colts is still up in the air, however more information should be available as the week progresses.
Sun Sep 20 201511:49McCourty (groin) inactive for Sunday's game at Cleveland
McCourty (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game at Cleveland.
Due to his continued recovery from late-August groin surgery, McCourty will again yield his starting spot to fellow cornerback Coty Sensabaugh, who returned an interception for a touchdown in Week 1.

McCourty (groin) is listed as doutful for Sunday's game against the Browns.
Though not yet officially ruled out for the contest, McCourty is too risky to roll with as a fantasy IDP in Week 2.
Sun Sep 13 201515:17McCourty (groin) inactive for Sunday's game against Buccaneers
McCourty (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
The Titans secondary could be exposed without their top player in McCourty, who registered 85 stops and three interceptions last season. Coty Sensabaugh is expected to replace McCourty as one of the starters at cornerback.
Fri Sep 11 201515:45McCourty (groin) did not participate in Friday's practice
McCourty (groin) did not participate in Friday's practice.
McCourty is coming off preseason groin surgery, a procedure that was initially expected to sideline him for the regular season's first three weeks or so. Since McCourty has yet to return to practice, it's highly doubtful that he'll be ready for Sunday's season opener against the Buccaneers, which coincides with fellow projected starting cornerback Perrish Cox (hip) being considered questionable due to a hip ailment.
Wed Sep 9 201518:42McCourty (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday
McCourty (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, the Buccaneers' official site reports.
McCourty underwent groin surgery after the first week of the preseason. The initial report claimed McCourty may miss the first three weeks of the regular season. As of now it seems very unlikely McCourty will be ready to go for the season opener against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Either Coty Sensabaugh or Blidi Wreh-Wilson will likely start in place of McCourty.
Tue Aug 25 201510:21McCourty (groin) may miss first three weeks of season
McCourty (groin) may miss the first three weeks of the season, ESPN.com's Adam Schefter reports.
McCourty had groin surgery Monday, and with the Titans having an early Week 4 bye, it won't be surprising if the team's top cornerback is held out until Week 5. Tennessee did sign CB Perrish Cox in the offseason, but he'll likely now be joined in the Week 1 starting lineup by either Coty Sensabaugh or Blidi Wreh-Wilson, who both struggled mightily last season.

McCourty underwent groin surgery on Monday.
McCourty, who missed the Titans' first two preseason games, hasn't been ruled out for the team's regular season opener, but at this stage it wouldn't surprise us if he misses a game or two, a notion echoed by ESPN.com. With fellow cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson dealing with an ankle issue at this time, Perrish Cox and Coty Sensabaugh have been seeing added reps in the Titans' secondary.

McCourty could see more balls thrown to the receiver he's covering in 2015, ESPN.com reports.
Offseason acquisition Perrish Cox figures to do a better job across from McCourty than Blidi Wreh-Wilson did in 2014, which would lead to more throws to McCourty's man. The 27-year-old cornerback recorded 85 tackles and three interceptions 2014, but he would get an opportunity to improve on those stats with more action heading his way. The Titans face a relatively underwhelming slate of No. 1 receivers in 2015, so McCourty could be in for a very solid IDP campaign if he maintains the level of play he displayed in 2014.
Sun Sep 21 201411:30McCourty (groin) active for Sunday's game against Bengals
McCourty (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
McCourty's status for Sunday's tilt was somewhat of a question mark after he was limited in practice all three days, but he'll be available against the Bengals, though perhaps in a lesser capacity than usual. It may be difficult for McCourty to return to the 92-tackle, four-interception peak he displayed in 2012, but he's considered the Titans' top corner following the offseason departure of Alterraun Verner to the Bucs.
Fri Sep 19 201416:15McCourty (groin) increased workload at practice Friday
McCourty (groin) increased his workload at practice Friday, but is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Cincinnati, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
McCourty was injured in Week 2's loss to Dallas. If he can't go, Coty Sensabugh would likely slot in as the starting corner opposite Blidi Wreh-Wilson.

McCourty (groin), who was limited at practice both Wednesday and Thursday, remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports. "I did more today than I did yesterday,'' McCourty said. "But I will leave (my status) up to coach Whiz. He decides who is up and who is down. It's his decision to make and I'll leave it up to him."
The official designation will come Friday, but McCourty seems to be truly questionable. He left Sunday's game against the Cowboys, and was never able to return. Should McCourty fail to play, Coty Sensabaugh will likely start across from Blidi Wreh-Wilson.
Mon Sep 15 201423:13McCourty (groin) feeling better
McCourty (groin) is feeling better, but his status for Sunday's game against Cincinnati is still unclear, Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reports.
McCourty was forced out of Week 2's loss to the Cowboys because of the injury. The cornerback will be evaluated further, and more will be known about his status by Wednesday.
Sun Sep 14 201423:43McCourty left Sunday's loss to Cowboys early due to groin injury
McCourty left Sunday's loss to the Cowboys early due to a groin injury, the Tennessean reports.
Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said he thought McCourty "will be okay," though we won't really know for sure until the Titans begin prepping for the Bengals on Wednesday.

McCourty had two interceptions, three tackles and two pass deflections in Tennessee's Week 1 road win over Kansas City.
While Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Coty Sensabaugh are jostling for playing time at the other cornerback spot, McCourty showed why there's no competition on the left side. That being said, things could get more difficult in Week 2 against Dez Bryant and the Cowboys.
