Vaughan was forced into duty a few weeks ago and even scored a touchdown, but he's been limited to special teams duty of late and with Jonathan Stewart back and looking healthy, Vaughan isn't needed. He could be re-signed to the practice squad.
Tue Nov 9 201018:31Panthers re-sign RB Josh Vaughan
Panthers re-signed RB Josh Vaughan.
Vaughan, undrafted out of Richmond in 2009, saw plenty of action with the Panthers early in training camp. Since he already knows the offense, Vaughan is a better choice than Andre Brown to back up Mike Goodson if DeAngelo Williams (foot), Jonathan Stewart (concussion), and Tyrell Sutton (ankle) all miss Week 10.
