Dolphins waived TE John Nalbone.
It's a bit of a surprise considering Nalbone has been active for both games so far, and the Dolphins don't have another tight end on the roster behind Anthony Fasano. Practice squadders Dedrick Epps and Jeron Mastrud are candidates for promotion.

Mon Sep 6 201007:56Nalbone is the No. 2 TE
Following Saturday's surprising release of David Martin, John Nalbone is locked in as the Dolphins' No. 2 tight end.
Nalbone, a fifth-round pick last season, spent most of his rookie year on the practice squad. Now he's going to be on the field plenty as the Dolphins run a significant amount of two-tight end sets. Martin's release prompted speculation that the Dolphins were trying to trade for Greg Olsen, but it appears they are simply higher on Nalbone than most.
