Jets re-signed WR Patrick Turner and waived OT Dennis Landolt and CB Donnie Fletcher.
Turner's return suggests the Jets already know injured rookie Stephen Hill isn't going to play next week. Landolt was a healthy scratch for Week 3. Fletcher is eligible to return to the practice squad.

Mon Nov 14 201120:52WR Turner (kidney) questionable for Thursday
Jets WR Patrick Turner said that he thinks he will play in Thursday's game against the Broncos.
"Should be able to, depending on what the doctors say," said Turner. "They'll let me know. They're just going to keep checking me out to make sure I'm progressing." Turner had blood in his urine and sounds like he has no real idea if he'll play or not. The Jets could be very thin at WR on Thursday.

Wed Sep 14 201111:57Patrick Turner getting promoted
Jets activated WR Patrick Turner from their practice squad.
We haven't had any word on injuries to Jets' receivers, so Turner may be "up" for special teams help. The former third-round bust of the Dolphins has two catches in five career games.

Wed Dec 15 201020:02Jets waive WR Patrick Turner
Jets waived WR Patrick Turner.
Two weeks too late. Turner's biggest impact in his month on the roster was being involved in a practice squad collision involving Jim Leonhard on December 3. Leonhard fractured his tibia and was lost for the season.
Thu Nov 18 201016:10Jets promote WR Patrick Turner
Jets signed WR Patrick Turner from their practice squad.
The promotion is a concession that Jerricho Cotchery (groin) won't play in Week 11. Brad Smith will move into the third receiver role with Turner likely playing on special teams. Santonio Holmes is a solid WR2 option against the Texans.

Thu Nov 18 201008:39Turner or Cumberland likely to be activated
With Jerricho Cotchery likely to sit out this weekend, the Jets are expected to promote WR Patrick Turner from the practice squad or activate WR/TE Jeff Cumberland.
Turner was active for a game earlier this season when Braylon Edwards sat out a quarter on a team-imposed "suspension," but he didn't make a catch. Cumberland has been on the 53-man roster all season but has yet to see any action in a game.

Mon Oct 4 201011:20Jets dump Turner
Jets waived WR Patrick Turner.
With Braylon Edwards' troubles apparently behind him and Santonio Holmes off suspension, there's no room for someone like Turner who doesn't play on special teams. He could be headed back to the Jets' practice squad if he clears waivers.

Wed Sep 22 201021:56Jets sign WR Patrick Turner
Jets signed WR Patrick Turner off their practice squad.
The Jets are presumably adding Turner because Braylon Edwards isn't slated for a full complement of snaps against the Dolphins. Turner, the 87th overall pick in the 2009 draft, has never been known for special teams value.

Fri Sep 10 201012:35Jets add Turner to practice squad
Jets signed WR Patrick Turner to their practice squad.
The Dolphins blew $714,000 on a signing bonus for Turner. Now, he's a practice squad player for the division rival Jets. Considering the surprise 2009 third-round pick's history, he's a poor bet to ever be an NFL producer.

Jets waived WR Patrick Turner.
Turner was just claimed from the Dolphins two days ago. Perhaps the Jets were just pumping him for information with a matchup at Miami in Week 3. Turner's release leaves the Jets with just three receivers on the 53-man roster.

Sat Sep 4 201010:21Dolphins waive WR Patrick Turner
Dolphins waived WR Patrick Turner.
Turner was a disappointment even at USC, so it was surprising in the first place that a team as well run as the Dolphins wasted a third-round pick on him two Aprils ago. He was beaten out by a pair of undrafted rookies in camp.

Wed Aug 25 201013:33Turner now expected to make Dolphins roster
Patrick Turner, last year's third-round pick, is expected to make the Dolphins' roster following Wednesday's trade of Greg Camarillo to the Vikings.
The Dolphins aren't ready to give up on Turner after a "respectable" showing in training camp. It's too early to call it a lock, as Turner is in the mix with Marlon Moore and Roberto Wallace for two spots.
Sat Aug 7 201012:08Turner playing well in training camp
WR Patrick Turner is off to a "respectable" start in training camp, writes Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
Turner has been running crisp routes and making impressive physical catches thus far in training camp. Unfortunately for the 6'5" former Trojan, fellow Dolphin wideout Brandon Marshall possesses a similar albeit superior skill set, relegating Turner to fight for Miami's WR5 job.
