Tue Apr 30 201315:45Lions converting WR Curry to tight end
The Lions have converted WR Dominique Curry to tight end.
It's a lottery ticket with Brandon Pettigrew and Tony Scheffler going into the final year of their contracts. The 6-foot-2, 223-pound Curry will be far from a guarantee to make the team. A journeyman third-year pro, Curry has caught exactly zero passes in 18 career games.

Thu May 3 201213:39Rams release WR Dominique Curry
Rams waived WR Dominique Curry.
Undrafted out of Cheyney University (PA), Curry made a bigger impact on special teams than on offense the past two years. He failed to catch a single pass in St. Louis. Following the additions of Brian Quick and Chris Givens, Curry was squeezed out of a roster spot.

Fri Aug 5 201121:25Rams WR Curry to undergo hand surgery
Rams WR Dominique Curry will undergo surgery to repair a fractured hand.
Pins will be inserted rather than plates, so Curry won't be sidelined long. The special teamer was not yet 100 percent recovered from rookie-season ACL surgery when he suffered the hand injury. As deep as the Rams are at wide receiver, Curry is facing extremely long odds of making the roster.

Sat May 28 201110:45Dominique Curry says he's 75-80 percent
Rams WR Dominique Curry says he's "75-80 percent" recovered from the torn right ACL that ended his rookie year in September.
His surgery also involved repairing torn meniscus cartilage. Curry is seven months removed from surgery -- he had it in October -- and unable to participate in player-organized offseason workouts. The former undrafted free agent from Cheyney University will have little chance of making the 2011 roster.

Mon Sep 27 201015:41Rams place Curry on injured reserve
Rams placed WR Dominique Curry on injured reserve with a torn right ACL, ending his season.
Curry impressively made the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Cheyney University in Pennsylvania due to his special teams play. Not much of a receiver prospect, however, he didn't catch a pass in two games active.

Curry was covering a punt when his right knee buckled. The undrafted free agent was buried on the receiver depth chart.

Sun Sep 26 201016:45Curry exits Sunday with leg injury
Dominque Curry left the Rams' Week 3 game with a leg injury.
Curry was injured while covering a punt near the end of the first quarter. He looked to be in a good amount of pain and might not be able to return.
Sun Sep 12 201014:56Rams declare inactives
Rams declared WR Dominique Curry, third QB Thaddeus Lewis, WR Brandon Gibson, CB Jerome Murphy, TE Fendi Onobun, G John Greco, DE Eugene Sims, and DT Jermelle Cudjo inactive for Week 1.
Curry was kept on the roster only to play special teams, and might be the first player to go if the Rams suffer an injury and need to make a move. Gibson's deactivation is confirmation that the Rams prefer Mardy Gilyard and newly acquired Mark Clayton over him. It's bad news for his 2010 outlook.
