McCoy has signed with Washington, the Washington Post reports.

McCoy, who played for the Seahawks when Washington GM Scot McCloughan was a front office executive for Seattle, gives his new team some much-needed tight end depth behind starter Jordan Reed and backup Derek Carrier.

McCoy has signed a one year deal with Seattle, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

McCoy has missed the past two season with Achilles injuries, and will now try to make the Seahawks roster as a depth tight end.
