Barden will sign with the Jaguars, Ryan O'Halloran of the Florida Times-Union reports.

Bills released WR Ramses Barden and LB Nathan Williams.
Always given chances due to his 6-foot-6 frame, Barden is now nearing the end of the line. He has a total of 29 catches and one start on his resume since the Giants took him in the third round of the 2009 draft, and has now lost his camp roster spot to Naaman Roosevelt.

Wed Jun 4 201416:25Ramses Barden a 'long shot' to make Bills
WGR 550 Buffalo considers WR Ramses Barden a "long shot" to make the Bills' 53-man roster.
Beat writer Joe Buscaglia calls Barden's performance at OTAs unimpressive. "There is no deception to his game, he lacks the sort of game speed receivers have to have and is limited really to jump ball scenarios for his effectiveness," writes Buscaglia. Barden, at 6-foot-6 and 224 pounds, should be standing out in non-contact practices in gym shorts. Barden may be running out of chances.

Thu Jan 16 201418:47Bills sign five to reserve/future deals
Bills signed WR Ramses Barden, LB Willie Jefferson, FS Jajuan Harley, WR Chris Summers and LB Nathan Williams to reserve/futures contracts.
A former third-round pick of the Giants, Barden missed the entire 2013 season after being released in September with an injury settlement. He'll compete for a roster spot with the Bills as a red-zone specialist. Jefferson appeared in six games with the Texans as an undrafted free agent.

Free agent WR Ramses Barden worked out for the Seahawks.
Seattle also hosted WRs Mike Thomas and Danny Coale, along with QB B.J. Coleman. Sidney Rice (torn ACL) recently went on injured reserve, but the Seahawks are expected to get Percy Harvin (hip) back shortly. The team is likely just updating its emergency list. Barden had previously worked out for Houston, as well.

Tue Oct 22 201317:23Ramses Barden works out for Texans Tuesday
Free agent WR Ramses Barden worked out for the Texans on Tuesday.
The Texans also worked out free agent WR Mike Brown. It's the first we've heard of the 6-foot-6 Barden since he was released by the Giants last month. A signing does not appear imminent. Barden's unique size should eventually earn him another NFL chance.

Giants released WR Ramses Barden with an injury settlement.
The 6-foot-6 former third-round pick's Giants career ends with 29 catches across 29 games. Nine of those catches came last Week 3. Barden's height could him earn some looks on the open market, but his career is on the downslope.

Sat Aug 31 201311:22Giants release Ramses Barden
Giants released WR Ramses Barden.
The 85th pick in the 2009 draft, Barden ran like there were cement blocks attached his his feet, which hurt his NFL prospects. He could still generate some free-agent interest from teams interested in red-zone specialists.

Mon May 27 201317:17Giants get minimum salary benefit on Barden
Giants WR Ramses Barden's one-year contract gave the team a "minimum salary benefit" because it's worth just $780,000.
Barden received a base salary of $715,000 with a $65,000 signing bonus. Because of the minimum salary and a signing bonus worth equal to or less than $65K, the Giants can carry Barden at just $620,000 in salary cap cost, per NFL rules. It's a reminder that Barden is not highly regarded around the league. He lasted over two months on the open market before re-signing on the cheap.

Wed May 22 201320:24Giants could re-sign WR Ramses Barden
The New York Daily News reports the Giants are bringing free agent WR Ramses Barden in for a physical on Thursday.
If all checks out well, Barden could sign a one-year deal to return. The 27-year-old former third-round pick said earlier in March that it was "probably best to move on" from the Giants, but he hasn't generated any interest on the open market. He'll be back at the minimum salary and as the No. 5 receiver.

Tue Apr 30 201313:44Jets have had 'conversations' with Barden
USA Today's Mike Garafolo reports the Jets have "had conversations" with free agent WR Ramses Barden.
The 6-foot-6 wideout's market has been nonexistent, but could pick up now that the draft has come and gone. Little more than a big target, the former third-round pick caught just 20 passes in four seasons with the Giants.

Mon Mar 18 201319:25Giants 'still an option' for WR Ramses Barden
The New York Daily News reports the Giants are "still an option" for free agent WR Ramses Barden.
Barden, 27, just last month said it would probably be best if the two sides parted ways, but the receiver has drawn zero interest in the opening week of free agency. If he were to re-sign, Barden wouldn't be any higher than the No. 4 or 5 receiver in New York.

Sun Mar 3 201313:21Panthers to explore WRs Hixon and Barden
The Charlotte Observer expects the Panthers to explore free agent WRs Ramses Barden and Domenik Hixon.
Connecting the dots with this is easy. New GM Dave Gettleman came over from the Giants and knows Hixon and Barden quite well. Beat writer Joe Person suspects Barden "could thrive" in the Panthers' vertical passing game. Carolina saw firsthand what Barden can do. He had the best game of his career in Week 3 in Carolina, catching nine passes for 138 yards.

Thu Feb 28 201315:00Barden not expected back with the Giants
Free agent WR Ramses Barden said "it's probably best" if he plays elsewhere in 2013.
The Giants have some interest in re-signing Barden, but both sides agreed that he'll test the open market. Barden's size -- 6-foot-6, 224 pounds -- will pique teams' interest, but he's yet to produce in his four years in the league.

Mon Feb 25 201314:02Ramses Barden hitting the open market
The Giants have interest in re-signing free agent Ramses Barden, but will let him hit the open market.
"We have spoken and they do have interest in re-signing him," Barden's rep said. "(But) we agreed that he'll test the market and see how it unfolds." Translation, if Barden is back in New York, it will be on the Giants' terms. The 2009 third-round pick has just 29 catches through four seasons, nine of which came against the Panthers last Week 3. Barden's 6-foot-6, 224 pounds may intrigue a few teams on the open market, but his tape won't do him any more favors than his numbers.

Tue Jan 15 201312:47Ramses Barden expects to hit free agency
Ramses Barden hinted that he does not expect a long-term deal from the Giants before free agency opens.
Barden erupted for nine catches and 138 yards in Week 3 when both Hakeem Nicks and Domenik Hixon were sidelined. But he subsequently fell behind rookie Reuben Randle and totaled just four catches the rest of the way. "My agent and I just have to sit down with the Giants' management and hopefully both parties can find a way to keep me around," Barden said. "Free agency doesn't open until March so I'll have a better idea of where I'll be playing then."

Fri Oct 12 201214:09Barden practices in full; listed as probable
Giants WR Ramses Barden (concussion) is listed as probable for Week 7.
Barden practiced fully throughout the week, so he is going to play. Hakeem Nicks (foot) is likely to return on Sunday, and with Domenik Hixon playing well ahead of him, Barden's depth chart standing is uncertain. He's not worth owning beyond 16-team leagues.

Giants WR Ramses Barden (concussion) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
He's good to go for Sunday's game against the 49ers. With Domenik Hixon playing well and Hakeem Nicks trending toward a return, however, Barden is no longer on the fantasy radar.
