Sat Sep 3 201113:00Eagles release WR Sinorice Moss
Eagles released WR Sinorice Moss.
Moss looked like a strong bet to make the team as the fifth wideout, but it looks like the Eagles are keeping Johnnie Lee Higgins instead. Moss, the No. 44 overall pick in the 2006 draft, caught six passes for 76 yards in preseason action.

Mon Jan 10 201116:50Eagles sign up futures players
Eagles signed WRs Sinorice Moss and Rod Harper, C A.Q. Shipley, and G/C Dallas Reynolds to reserve/future contracts.
We would've guessed Moss might find a better chance for playing time, but he's landed in one of the deepest receiver groups in football. It's not a good long-term situation for him. Harper is a return prospect. Shipley and Reynolds both spent the 2010 season on Philadelphia's practice squad.
Fri Jan 7 201108:57Eagles work out WR Sinorice Moss
In addition to the Redskins, the Eagles also worked out free agent WR Sinorice Moss this week.
It appears that Moss is back to full health after undergoing sports hernia surgery prior to the start of the season. The Eagles may have been looking at him as a kickoff returner with Ellis Hobbs and Jorrick Calvin done for the season.

Tue Jan 4 201108:51Skins work out Sinorice Moss
The Redskins worked out free agent WR Sinorice Moss late last week.
Moss is the younger brother of Skins top receiver Santana Moss. Santana is an impending free agent, so this might've been an act of good will on the Redskins' part. It's still surprising that Moss never caught on after being released by the Giants last November. He failed to meet expectations in New York, but didn't embarrass himself during his rare times on the field.

Tue Nov 9 201014:30Giants cut ties with former 2nd-rounder Moss
Giants waived WR Sinorice Moss with an injury settlement.
Moss had been on injured reserve after undergoing sports hernia surgery in late August. The settlement likely means that Moss is getting back to full health and wants to ply his trade elsewhere. The 2006 second-rounder closes the books on his disappointing Giants career with 39 receptions and 421 yards over four seasons.
Tue Aug 31 201011:17Giants place WR Moss on injured reserve
Giants placed WR Sinorice Moss (sports hernia) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Moss, squarely on the roster bubble, underwent surgery to repair a lingering sports hernia on Tuesday morning. He was due to hit free agency in 2011, so his disappointing Giants career is almost certainly finished. With Moss on I.R. and Ramses Barden nursing a back injury, preseason star Victor Cruz is locked into the No. 4 receiver role.
Thu Aug 26 201015:27Sinorice Moss dealing with injured groin
Giants WR Sinorice Moss is dealing with an injured groin, and recently suffered a setback.
He'll miss the third preseason game. Moss entered camp on the bubble, and it probably already burst with Victor Cruz's emergence. Teams that should give him a look once waived include Detroit, Cleveland, and St. Louis.

Wed Aug 18 201018:48Sinorice Moss may lose roster spot
Giants WR Sinorice Moss is in danger of losing his roster spot to undrafted rookie WR Victor Cruz.
Moss just barely made the cut last season -- pretty much only because the Giants kept seven receivers. Cruz is a better special teamer and clearly has the higher ceiling as a wideout. Moss would be able to find a new home with ease.

Thu Jun 17 201013:40Moss a candidate to return kickoffs, punts
Sinorice Moss is a candidate to return both kickoffs and punts now that Domenik Hixon is out of the season with an ACL tear.
Moss' primary competition on kickoffs is expected to come from running backs D.J. Ware, Andre Brown, and Ahmad Bradshaw. The Giants will likely be hesitant to use Bradshaw coming off surgery to both feet, and Brown's explosiveness will be lacking after Achilles' surgery.

Wed Apr 14 201012:16Giants re-sign WR Sinorice Moss
Giants re-signed restricted free agent WR Sinorice Moss to a one-year, $1.176 million contract.
The former No. 44 overall pick has shown no signs of development in four years as a pro. Moss, 26, appeared in just eight games last season, catching all of one pass for 18 yards. He'll have an uphill climb to make the team.
