Mon Jan 27 201421:10Dominic Rhodes attempting a comeback
Free agent RB Dominic Rhodes is attempting a comeback.
Rhodes is 35. The last we heard from him was back in September 2011 when he was suspended for the entire season due to a third failed drug test. Rhodes was reinstated in January 2012. He wants to latch on with an NFL team in OTAs. We here at Rotoworld have just as good of a chance of being invited to join an NFL team this spring as Rhodes does. It's not going to happen.

Free agent RB Dominic Rhodes has been reinstated from suspension.
Rhodes was suspended for a year, ostensibly due to a third failed drug test. Having just turned 33 last week, Rhodes is going to have trouble finding a job in the NFL. His old standby, the Colts, won't be interested while going through a rebuilding phase. Rhodes has rushed for 3,286 yards and 26 TDs on 814 carries over an eight-year career.

Sat Sep 3 201122:29Dominic Rhodes draws year-long suspension
NFL suspended free agent RB Dominic Rhodes for one year.
It is believed the harsh suspension is a result of Rhodes violating the NFL's substance abuse policy for a third time, but that has not been confirmed. Rhodes made his first three appearances since 2008 last season, carrying the ball 37 times for 172 yards in Indy's final three games. Four months shy of his 33rd birthday, his career is likely over.

Fri Mar 11 201111:44Rhodes a longshot to return to Colts?
The Indianapolis Star's Mike Chappell suspects the Colts will not re-sign free agent Dominic Rhodes.
Chappell believes the Colts opt against the veteran route in the backfield, especially if Joseph Addai is brought back on a new deal. Rhodes was a fine late-season injury patch, but he's not a part of Indy's future at age 32.
