Dolphins RB/FB Jerome Messam will undergo surgery Tuesday to repair a torn left meniscus in his knee.

The injury occurred during the CFL season. Messam revealed that it's his second surgery on the same knee in the last five months. Already a long shot for a roster spot, this will kill Messam's chances of making an early impression.
