Thompson was released by the Bills on Friday, the team's official website reports.

Thompson spent his first three seasons (2012-2014) in Baltimore, occupying either one of the final roster spots or a slot on the practice squad. He could draw some interest if a team has need of a kick returner, but his work as a wide receiver is unlikely to turn any heads.

Thompson is probably the fastest Raven, and he could catch on elsewhere as a return specialist and depth receiver, if he doesn't make the roster in Baltimore.
