Kearse caught two passes (on two targets) for 84 yards in Monday night's win over the Lions.
Kearse led the Seahawks in receiving yards thanks to a game-long 50 yard catch, which helped compensate for his mere two targets Monday. While Kearse caught both passes thrown his way, his 18 targets heading into Monday night's game suggested he might be more involved. To his credit, Kearse still managed a season-high 84 yards, which should result in more looks moving forward.

Kearse caught 6-of-6 targets for 76 yards in Sunday's 26-0 win over the Bears.
Kearse made a couple of nice catches, including a long pass of 22 yards at one point. He rebounded nicely from last week's goose egg, and outperformed fellow wideout Doug Baldwin, who had just three catches for 35 yards Sunday. Next week, Kearse will face the Lions at home on Monday Night Football.

Kearse lead the Seahawks with eight receptions for 76 yards in Sunday's game against the Rams.
The fourth-year pro also lead the team with 10 targets on the day and was a key part of Seattle's 18-point run to take the lead in the fourth quarter before losing in overtime. Kearse has been progressively more involved in the offense in each of his first three seasons and that trend could continue this year, as he never recorded more than five catches in a game in 2014. Kearse and the Seahawks will face the Packers on the road in Week 2.

Kearse started Friday's preseason opener against the Broncos but wasn't targeted
As expected, Kearse and Doug Baldwin were the starting wide receivers. Chris Matthews, who looms as the largest threat to push Kearse for playing time, suffered an AC sprain and is expected to be out for about two weeks, according to the Seattle Times. Even if Matthew doesn't earn a significant role, Kearse will likely have some very barren weeks. He saw just 69 targets as a 15-game starter last season, and that was without Jimmy Graham on the roster.

Kearse has signed his one-year restricted free agent tender with the Seahawks, worth $2.356 million for the 2015 season, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.
Kearse, who caught 38 passes for 537 yards and a touchdown in 15 games in 2014, will thus reprise his role in the team's wideout corps, which also includes Doug Baldwin, with Ricardo Lockette, Paul Richardson, Kevin Norwood, Chris Matthews and Tyler Lockett also jostling for depth chart slotting. With the Seahawks a run-heavy team to begin with, and star TE Jimmy Graham now in the mix, Kearse's fantasy utility is limited to deeper formats.
Fri Mar 6 201511:01Jermaine Kearse: Gets 2nd-Round Tender
Kearse received a second-round restricted free agent tender from the Seahawks, ESPN's Field Yates reports.
No team would consider giving up a second-round pick for Kearse, so there's little question he'll be back with Seattle next season. It remains to be seen how he'll fit into the offense, as the Seahawks may have designs on upgrading their receiving corps. Even if he maintains a starting role, Kearse has never been a high-volume player in the Seattle offense.

Kearse caught 3-of-6 targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 28-24 Super Bowl loss to the Patriots.
Kearse had a rather unusual postseason, with a mixture of terrible plays and spectacular ones. He dropped a long pass in Sunday's Super Bowl, but he later made a juggling 33-yard catch in the final two minutes of the game. Had the Seahawks not turned the ball over two plays later, Kearse's grab might have gone down as Super Bowl 49's version of the helmet catch. Kearse is a respectable deep threat and capable blocker, but his overall receiving ability leaves a lot to be desired. The Seahawks may want to upgrade their receiving corps in the offseason, so while Kearse will likely be back with the team in 2015, he won't necessarily have the same role.

Kearse caught one pass for a 35-yard game-winning TD in Sunday's 28-22 overtime win over the Packers in the NFC Championship Game.
Per ESPN.com, Kearse was the intended target on all four of Russell Wilson's interceptions on Sunday, but the wideout certainly made the most of his one catch, a grab that sends Seattle to the Super Bowl for the second straight year.

Kearse caught three passes on three targets for 129 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's Divisional Round win over the Panthers.
Kearse picked a good time to have his biggest game of the year. He made the most of his three targets, finishing with a game-high 129 yards, 63 of which came on touchdown pass from Russell Wilson with a little under five minutes remaining in the first half. Kearse scored just one touchdown during the regular season.
Sat Jan 10 201519:00Kearse (hamstring) active for Saturday's game against Carolina
Kearse (hamstring) is active for Saturday's game against Carolina.
Kearse practiced fully all week, so his hamstring is close to a non-issue at this point. He's not a reliable option in Seattle's modest passing game, however, and he lost some ground to rookie second-round pick Paul Richardson in recent weeks.
Fri Jan 9 201515:51Kearse (hamstring) probable for Saturday's game against Panthers
Kearse (hamstring) is probable for Saturday's game against the Panthers.
The probable designation was expected, after Kearse logged full practices throughout the week. While he'll certainly have a role in the offense, Kearse could lose some targets to rookie Paul Richardson, who caught 10-of-14 targets for 112 yards over the final two weeks of the regular season.
Wed Jan 7 201519:26Kearse (hamstring) full participant in Wednesday's practice
Kearse (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice.
Kearse continues to make a speedy recovery from a minor hamstring ailment that kept him out of a Week 17 matchup, and appears to be in line to play Saturday against the Panthers.

Keasre (hamstring) will practice and is expected to play Saturday against Carolina.
As expected, Kearse is recovering quickly from his hamstring injury, and barring a setback, he'll be on the field Saturday. Kearse has 38 catches for 537 yards and one touchdown this season.

Head coach Pete Carroll believes Kearse (hamstring) "should be fine" for Seattle's next game in two weeks, John Boyle of the Everett Herald reports.
Kearse missed the Seahawks' regular season finale due to the setback, but it appears Seattle's first-round bye will give him ample time to get healthy. His availability for Seattle's playoff opener figures to ultimately be determined sometime next week.

Kearse (hamstring) is out for Sunday's game against St. Louis.
Kearse's absence should allow rookie Paul Richardson to see more snaps, but the distribution of catches in the Seattle passing game is difficult to predict on a week-to-week basis.
Wed Dec 24 201419:57Kearse (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday
Kearse (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports.
After his removal from this past Sunday's game in Arizona due to a hamstring injury, Kearse was deemed doubtful for Week 17 against the Rams. As the week proceeds, it would be a surprise if he practices, and a DNP in the season finale would leave Doug Baldwin and rookie Paul Richardson as the Seahawks' Top 2 wideouts.
Tue Dec 23 201415:55Kearse (hamstring) doubtful for Sunday's game against St
Kearse (hamstring) is doubtful for Sunday's game against St. Louis, Sports Radio KJR's Curtis Crabtree reports.
Kearse doesn't make much of a fantasy impact in Seattle's offense, so it shouldn't harm the Seahawks' offensive effectiveness any if he happens to sit out. Rookie second-round pick Paul Richardson should see more snaps in the event that Kearse misses the game.

Coach Pete Carroll indicated after Sunday's game against the Cardinals that he did not yet know the severity of the hamstring injury Kearse suffered in the contest, the Seattle Times reports.
"He didn't pop it," Carroll noted with regard to the wideout's hamstring issue. "He felt banged up, and we shut it down right then. That's exactly what he told me, so that's all I know." Kearse finished Sunday's game with one catch for eight yards and if he is out or limited Sunday against the Rams, Paul Richardson would figure to be in line for added work in Week 17.

Kearse suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's game against the Cardinals, and he will not return to the contest.
Kearse's absence leaves additional snaps for Paul Richardson, Bryan Walters and Ricardo Lockette. Richards is most likely to take advantage of the opportunity, while Kearse finishes with one catch for eight yards on one target.
Sun Dec 14 201420:46Kearse caught 5-of-6 targets for season-high 78 yards in Sunday'...
Kearse caught 5-of-6 targets for a season-high 78 yards in Sunday's 17-7 win over the 49ers.
Kearse, who had a 47-yard catch at one point, could have had an even bigger game but dropped a long reception down the sideline, although the degree of difficulty was high. Next week, Kearse will face a Cardinals' pass defense that has been been mediocre statistically, but also dominated at times.
