Dolphins waived WR Jeff Fuller, LB David Hinds, DE Emeka Onyenekwu, WR Andrell Smith and LB Nathan Williams.
Fuller has now failed to latch on in back-to-back camps despite the presence of his college quarterback and coach. He has NFL size at 6-foot-4, 223 pounds, but can't separate from professional defensive backs.

Thu Jan 3 201303:51Dolphins sign a few to reserve/future deals
Dolphins signed WR Jeff Fuller, OTs Jeff Adams and Andrew McDonald, DT Chas Alecxih, and DB DeAndre Presley to reserve/future contracts.
Fuller is easily the most notable name of the bunch. The 6-foot-4, 223-pound receiver was Ryan Tannehill's top target at Texas A&M before latching on in Miami last offseason. He owns pans for hands and is slow of foot, though. Alecxih saw his fair share of air time on last summer's season of Hard Knocks. This handful of players will be among dozens to spend the offseason in Miami for spring workouts before hoping to make it to training camp.

Wed May 9 201216:37Fuller was a first-round prospect last fall
Two NFL front office men told the National Football Post's Dan Pompei last fall that Dolphins undrafted rookie WR Jeff Fuller was a first-round talent.
Fuller had no worse than second-round grades from scouts entering his senior season. He dropped far too many passes in 2011, however, and struggled at the Senior Bowl before suffering a stress fracture in his foot. Fuller will have to rebound in a big way, but he definitely has skill level to make the Dolphins.
