Fri Apr 13 201216:10Colts waive WR Blair White
Colts waived WR Blair White.
Now subject to the waivers process, White can be picked up for a $540,000 non-guaranteed salary. After hauling in 36 balls as a UDFA in 2010, White didn't catch a pass last year and was placed on injured reserve in November with a knee injury. His rookie production was a product of Peyton Manning.

Sat Nov 12 201115:05Knee sends Blair White to injured reserve
Colts placed WR Blair White on injured reserve with a knee injury, ending his season.
One year after coming out-of-nowhere to make 36 catches for 355 yards and five touchdowns, White had yet to tally a reception in seven games this season, playing primarily on special teams. With Peyton Manning's future uncertain and White now red-flagged for injury, he's not worth holding onto in even the deepest of dynasty leagues.

Colts PR Blair White left Sunday's game with a second-quarter knee injury and was ruled out for the day.
White was only returning punts against the Titans. No better than the Colts' fourth receiver at this point, White has no catches through seven games.

Thu Sep 15 201117:56Blair White downgraded to no practice
Colts WR Blair White (back) was downgraded to no practice on Thursday after participating in a limited fashion Wednesday.
White was hoping to make his 2011 debut this week, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. As an injured fifth receiver in a now conservative offense, White has no value even in deep Dynasty leagues.

Wed Sep 7 201117:17White limited in Colts practice Wednesday
Blair White (back) was limited in Colts practice Wednesday.
It's good that White was able to get on the field at all after only coming off the active/PUP list on Sunday, but he's unlikely to suit up this week after missing the entire preseason. He's a no-go in fantasy leagues until Peyton Manning is back under center in Indy.

Tue Sep 6 201112:38White says his back feels good
Blair White (back) said he has been running routes and feels good.
White missed the entire preseason and just came off the active/PUP list on Sunday. He's Austin Collie's (foot) direct backup, but there's nothing to see here until Peyton Manning gets healthy.

Sun Sep 4 201117:21Colts activate WR Blair White (back)
Colts activated WR Blair White from the active/PUP list.
White will avoid the reserve/PUP list to start the season, but beat writer Phillip Wilson still doubts he'll be a ready for a few weeks. With Anthony Gonzalez nursing a hamstring injury, the Colts have questionable depth at receiver in September.

Fri Sep 2 201119:08Blair White headed for PUP list?
Colts coach Jim Caldwell wouldn't rule out the possibility Friday that WR Blair White (back) will open the season on PUP.
White missed all of training camp and the preseason with a back injury, the extent of which was never disclosed. We're curious whether White needed surgery. If it were only a day-to-day injury, he would've been practicing long ago.

Wed Aug 17 201110:08White still sidelined
Blair White (back) remains sidelined.
White has not participated in a single practice yet. We have no word on the exact extent of his injury, but he is off the fantasy radar right now anyway. White would need another Austin Collie injury to have any shot at significant snaps.

Colts WR Blair White has been sidelined early in camp with a back injury.
Whited opened camp on the active/PUP list, and we've yet to see him listed as a practice participant. With Austin Collie and Anthony Gonzalez back to full health, White is undraftable in fantasy leagues this summer.

Sat Jan 8 201123:50Blair White leads Colts with six catches
Blair White caught six passes for 54 yards in the Colts' season-ending playoff loss to the Jets.
An undrafted rookie out of Michigan State, White finished his first regular season with 36 catches for 355 yards and five touchdowns. While he's probably a good bet to make the 2011 roster, White won't have nearly as big an impact with Austin Collie (concussions) likely to return. Collie is a far better player, and Peyton Manning simply trusts the veteran more.
Sun Dec 19 201017:48Blair White catches just one ball
Blair White had just one catch for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to the Jaguars.
Austin Collie (concussion) was done for the day with just over a minute left in the first half. White filled in as the slot receiver, but saw just two targets. He's worth an add for desperate owners, but the talent gap between Collie and White is severe. Keep expectations in check. Even though Collie has missed five games previously this year, White hasn't topped 52 yards in any of them.
Thu Dec 9 201023:50Blair White posts career-highs in Week 14
Blair White reeled in seven passes for 52 yards against the Titans in Week 14.
The receptions, yards, and eight targets were all career-highs for White. He ran mostly underneath routes as Peyton Manning's outlet receiver and did little after the catch. White's biggest impact on the game was running the wrong route and deflecting a touchdown away from Reggie Wayne in the back of the end zone. He'll head back to the bench if Austin Collie returns in Week 15.
Sun Dec 5 201021:07Blair White fills in admirably for Collie
Blair White caught four passes for 32 yards in the Week 13 loss to Dallas.
It's the first time in the last three games that the rookie failed to find the end zone. Peyton Manning looked White's way early in the game, but focused in on Reggie Wayne when things were looking dire. White has proven to be a decent fantasy option in deep leagues with Austin Collie sidelined, but Collie is expected back for Week 14, making White the odd man out. He's worth owning, but don't count on him to produce unless another receiver gets hurt.
Sun Nov 28 201023:51White finds the end zone again
Blair White caught four passes for 34 yards and a touchdown in the Week 12 loss to the Chargers.
It's his third touchdown in the last three weeks. White was seen on the sideline in the second half receiving instruction from quarterback Peyton Manning, so it's clear the undrafted rookie isn't totally in sync with the veteran yet, but he's proven to be a decent fantasy option in deeper leagues when Austin Collie isn't available.
Sun Nov 21 201020:04Blair White fills in with two touchdowns
Blair White caught five passes for 42 yards with two touchdowns in Sunday's loss to the Patriots.
White did most of his damage in the second half after Austin Collie (head) left the game. Just like he has done before, the undrafted rookie proved he is very capable of handling No. 3 receiver duties. He ran the goal-line routes out of the slot that Peyton Manning loves to target and will be on the radar as a hot pickup. Collie figures to be held out at least one week.
Fri Nov 19 201014:21Blair White not expected to play
Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) is expected to play in Week 11.
White will either be Indianapolis' No. 3 or 4 receiver, depending on Austin Collie's (concussion) status. An undrafted rookie out of Michigan State, White has caught nine passes for 108 yards and one touchdown this season.

Thu Nov 18 201016:41Blair White upgraded to full practice
Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) was upgraded to full participation in Thursday's practice.
White is over the worst of his shoulder injury. He's no longer a fantasy option, though, with Austin Collie also graduating to full practice on Thursday.

Wed Nov 17 201017:14Blair White limited in Wednesday's practice
Colts WR Blair White (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.
White was a late addition to last week's injury report after apparently going down in Wednesday's practice. The extent of his injury is unknown, but White won't be a factor if Austin Collie returns from his concussion in Week 11.

Sun Nov 14 201011:57Blair White inactive for Week 10 vs. Bengals
Blair White (shoulder) is inactive for Week 10 against the Bengals.
White joins would-be starters Austin Collie, Joseph Addai, and Mike Hart on the sidelines. Chris Brooks and Brandon James are active behind Reggie Wayne and Pierre Garcon, but they're not fantasy options. Jacob Tamme should be the primary beneficiary of White's absence. There's not a better fantasy tight end this week. Starting linebackers Gary Brackett and Clint Session are out, upgrading Cedric Benson's matchup. The Colts' only other inactives are S Bob Sanders and DB Justin Tryon.
