Sun Aug 22 201011:55Dillard sees first action of preseason
Jaguars WR Jarett Dillard (toe) saw his first action of the preseason in Saturday's game against the Dolphins.
Dillard caught three passes for 43 yards. He has a lot of ground to make up on Mike Thomas and Troy Williamson, but it's worth noting that Dillard was the man coach Jack Del Rio pegged back in the spring as one of the prime candidates for the No. 2 WR job.

Mon Aug 16 201008:41Dillard finally cleared medically
Jarett Dillard (stress fracture in toe) confirmed that he has been medically cleared to return to practice.
Dillard was the Jags' most impressive receiver during OTAs, according to the Florida Times Union. He was supposed to battle Mike Thomas for the No. 2 receiver gig, but it's probably too late for that now. Dillard is now just a name to watch if the oft-injured Mike Sims-Walker goes down again during the season.

According to the team website, Jaguars WR Jarett Dillard is out on the practice field.
Dillard had been sidelined by a stress fracture in his foot. He is in competition with Mike Thomas for the No.2 WR job, so it's good to see him back out practicing.

Sat Jul 31 201019:13Dillard dealing with stress fracture in foot
The injury keeping Jarett Dillard from practicing this week is a stress fracture in his left foot, originally sustained in June.
Dillard broke his right ankle last season, so this injury is unrelated. He hopes to return in "a couple of weeks," but his absence will give Mike Thomas an even better chance to take the starting job opposite Mike Sims-Walker.

Fri Jul 30 201013:13Jarett Dillard, Miller begin camp on PUP
Jaguars WR Jarett Dillard and TE Zach Miller will begin camp on the active/PUP list due to foot injuries.
No timetable has been set for their returns. Dillard is in a competition with Mike Thomas for the Jaguars' No. 2 receiver job, so his injury enhances Thomas' already sizable edge. Miller was injured throughout the offseason.

Sun Jun 27 201017:51Dillard impressing in OTAs
Jarrett Dillard was the most impressive receiver in OTAs, according to beat writer Vito Stellino.
Dillard is currently third on the Jags' receiving pecking order behind Mike Sims-Walker and Mike Thomas. The late-round flier to target right now is Thomas, but Dillard is a name to store away. His good hands could end up making him fit as a slot receiver if Thomas ends up out wide.

Tue Apr 13 201012:26Jaret Dillard back to 100 percent
Jaguars WR Jaret Dillard (broken ankle) confirmed that he's "a hundred percent full go" now.
Dillard was just beginning to push Mike Thomas for the No. 3 job before suffering the injury in November. He enters the offseason behind Thomas, Troy Williamson, and Kassim Osgood, but a strong training camp could put him in the mix for playing time.

Fri Apr 9 201010:08Dillard believed to be fully recovered
Jaguars.com's Vic Ketchman believes Jaret Dillard is fully recovered from the broken leg/ankle that ended his season in November.
Ketchman pointed out that training camp overwhelmed Dillard with the jump in competition, but he was starting to come on just before the injury. With a better camp this year, Dillard could find himself in the mix with Mike Thomas, Kassim Osgood, and Troy Williamson for the No. 2 job.
