Bostick was limited to special teams duty in Sunday's victory over the Jets, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Bostick made his season debut after sitting out Week 1, but he was not a factor in the offense. It's not clear if he needs more practice time, or if he has simply been passed on the depth chart, but he will be a fantasy flyer at best until he secures more of a role in the Packers' offense.

Bostick (leg) is active Sunday versus the Jets, the Packers' official site reports.
Bostick will see his first action since Aug. 16, when he suffered a slight fracture to his right fibula. As the top receiving threat among the Packers' array of tight ends, he could factor into the passing game immediately. However, Richard Rodgers will likely get the starting nod once again, with Andrew Quarless also present to take away the occasional look, thereby hurting Bostick's value.

Bostick sat out the Packers' season opener, but he returned to practice Wednesday, and is set to see his first action of the season this weekend. It's not entirely clear what role Bostick will fill out of the gate, but he was lined up to be the Packers' starting tight end at the time of his injury and is the team's top receiving tight end, so he could factor into the passing game as soon as this week.

Bostick (fibula) returned to practice Wednesday in a limited capacity, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
On Aug. 16, Bostick suffered a slight fracture in his right fibula in a preseason contest at St. Louis, which has sidelined him in the interim. His participation Wednesday included special teams work, namely kickoff coverage, where he's one the primary members. As for his place in the offense, he resides behind rookie Richard Rodgers and holdover Andrew Quarless, placing his initial receiving output, if any, up in the air.

Bostick (lower leg) could be cleared to play in the Packers' Week 2 matchup with the Jets, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Bostick sat out the Packers' season-opening loss to the Seahawks, but he was able to warm up prior to the game without setback, and he could be given the green light to play this week if everything checks out during a meeting with team doctors Wednesday. Bostick was set to be the Packers' starting tight end when he injured his leg, so he could factor into the gameplan right off the bat.

Bostick (fibula) is listed as out for Thursday's season opener in Seattle, ESPN.com reports.
The Packers' injury report finally revealed the nature of the ailment that has held Bostick out of practices and games since the second preseason tilt. A number of facets are unclear -- the severity, his timetable for a return -- but Richard Rodgers and Andrew Quarless will hold down the fort at tight end in the opener.

With another day off the field, it looks doubtful that Bostick will be ready to go for Thursday's opener against the Seahawks. Look for rookie Richard Rodgers to get the starting nod at tight end.

Bostick (leg) did not practice Monday, Curtis Crabtree of the Associated Press reports.
Bostick suffered a slight fracture to his right fibula about a week-and-a-half ago and continues to recover. The team hasn't provided many updates, but it's very unlikely he suits up for the regular season opener Thursday in Seattle.
Fri Aug 22 201412:13Brandon Bostick: Has Slight Leg Fracture
Bostick likely suffered a slight fracture of the fibula in his right leg has little chance of playing in the regular season opener, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports.
Bostick was set to be the top pass-catching tight end in the Packers' offense, but that plan may take at least an extra week to come to fruition. The team will likely go with Andrew Quarless and Richard Rogers at tight end while he is out, but he should return to that role when he takes the field.

Bostick (lower leg) hopes to return to practice before the regular season starts, Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Bostick is not sure exactly when he will be ready to return, but he will not need surgery, and his optimism hints at his absence being of the short-term type. It remains to be seen where he will slot in on the depth chart when he is ready to return to the field.
Mon Aug 18 201414:50Bostick (lower leg) will miss "a couple weeks"
Bostick (lower leg) will miss "a couple weeks", but won't require surgery, ESPN Wisconsin reports.
Bostick left Saturday's preseason game with a lower leg injury that wasn't thought to be serious and although he won't require surgery, the injury is apparently bothersome enough to keep him out a couple weeks. That sideline spell figures to hurt Bostick's positioning in the Packers' current tight end competition, while boosting Andrew Quarless' chances of closing the gap on rookie Richard Rodgers, who is currently thought to be the favorite to start.

Bostick's lower leg injury is not considered serious and his initial diagnosis is merely a bruise, ESPN.com reports.
Bostick exited early from Saturday's preseason game after catching one pass for nine yards. Entering his second season, Bostick is currently entrenched in a wide open competition at tight end, so avoiding a lengthy setback stands to benefit all parties involved.

Bostick (lower leg) left Saturday's preseason game against St. Louis and will not return.
Bostic played off the bench behind Richard Rodgers, catching a nine-yard pass before departing. It would hurt Bostick's chances of earning tight end snaps if he misses any time.

Bostick is listed as the second-string tight end on the Packers' first depth chart of the preseason, Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Bostick found himself competing for a roster spot at this time last year, but his spot is much more secure as the 2014 campaign approaches. He currently sits behind Andrew Quarless on the depth chart, but he has shared first-team reps with Quarless early in training camp, and could push for the starting job over the rest of the preseason.
Wed Jul 30 201417:31Bostick worked extensively with first unit Wednesday
Bostick worked extensively with the first unit Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
The report indicates that Bostick played well Wednesday, and head coach Mike McCarthy also mentioned he was pleased with how Bostick looked. Despite the positive reports, the Packers have given Bostick, Andrew Quarless, and Richard Rodgers first-team reps throughout camp, and it's too early to determine where Bostick will lineup come Week 1. However, he showed some explosiveness by averaging 17.1 yards per catch (albeit on seven catches) last season, so he could be a surprising fantasy option if he is able to secure a regular role.
Wed Jul 30 201412:08Packers TE Bostick works mostly with starters
Brandon Bostick worked mostly with the Packers' starting offense on Wednesday.
Third-round rookie TE Richard Rodgers drew all the hype during the spring, but that partly had to do with Bostick being sidelined as he recovered from foot surgery. Now healthy, Bostick is getting the bulk of the reps with the ones. By all accounts, he's looked impressive. Bostick capped off a two-minute drill with a fourth-down touchdown to close out practice Wednesday. The best athlete of the bunch at tight end in Green Bay, Bostick needs to be watched closely.

Brandon Bostick has been working on being a more complete tight end.
A converted receiver, Bostick was talked up by coach Mike McCarthy as the Packers' best blocking tight end earlier this offseason. He missed the majority of OTAs recovering from foot surgery, and has fallen behind Richard Rodgers and Andrew Quarless on the depth chart. Bostick will be fully cleared for training camp.

Wed Jun 25 201420:42Bostick reported to Packers overweight
Packers TE Brandon Bostick reported to OTAs weighing 270 pounds, more than the team would like.
Bostick broke his foot last December and couldn't condition optimally for most of the offseason. "I have to get my weight under control, come back and my goal is to be the starter," said 25-year-old Bostick, who wants to get down to 6'3/260. A former 230-pound Division-2 wide receiver, Bostick is battling Andrew Quarless and rookie Richard Rodgers for Green Bay's starting tight end job.

Wed Jun 11 201410:35Brandon Bostick finally back on the field
Packers TE Brandon Bostick participated in OTAs Tuesday for the first time since December foot surgery.
A former college basketball player dripping with athletic upside, Bostick will now have a chance to climb the depth chart. Jermichael Finley (neck surgery) remains a free agent and Andrew Quarless/Richard Rodgers have "just a guy" kind of ability. Bostick is a stash in Dynasty formats as we wait to see if he he shed a "raw" label.

Mon Jun 2 201411:27Brandon Bostick sitting out OTAs
Brandon Bostick (foot surgery) was not participating in OTAs last week.
Bostick sustained the injury in Week 15 last year. He's expected to be fine for camp, at which point he'll try to emerge from a muddled tight end depth chart. Bostick has the athleticism edge on Andrew Quarless and Richard Rodgers, but needs to improve as a blocker. Bostick's ceiling is likely as a passing-down specialist.
