Thu Oct 10 201318:23Blair Walsh pops up Week 6 injury report
Vikings K Blair Walsh was added to Thursday's injury report, getting in a limited session with a left (non-kicking) hamstring issue.
Walsh tweaked his leg in practice, but coach Leslie Frazier told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune he expects him to kick on Sunday against the Panthers. You can leave the game's best kicker penciled into your lineup.

Mon Sep 30 201311:02Blair Walsh now 12-of-12 from 50-plus
Vikings K Blair Walsh is now 12-of-12 from 50+ yards out in his career.
Walsh banged a 54-yarder against the Steelers in London Sunday. He now holds the team record for most field goals of 50+ yards in his career despite playing in just 20 games. Walsh will be a fine fantasy kicking option when the Vikings come out of their bye against the Panthers in Week 6.

Mon Dec 24 201210:37Blair Walsh sets NFL record
Vikings rookie K Blair Walsh has set an NFL record by going 9-of-9 on field goals from 50 yards or longer this season.
Fellow rookie Greg "Legatron" Zuerlein has gotten the publicity this year, but Walsh has been better. He hit from a career-long 56 yards out in Sunday's win over the Texans and is now 32-of-35 on the season overall. Zuerlein is "just" 7-of-12 from 50-plus and 21-of-28 overall.

Mon Dec 17 201210:00Blair Walsh ties record for 50-plus kicks
Vikings K Blair Walsh has tied an NFL record with eight field goals of 50-plus yards in a single season.
Walsh joins Morten Anderson (1995) and Jason Hanson (2008) in the record book. He went 3-for-3 from 50-plus in Sunday's win over the Rams and is now 8-for-8 from that distance on the season. Still, the sixth-round will be a shaky fantasy play in Week 16 as the Vikings figure to have trouble moving the ball in Houston.

Tue Jun 19 201211:33Vikes won't bring in competition for Walsh
The Vikings don't plan to sign competition for rookie K Blair Walsh.
"Right now we don't plan on bringing another leg," coach Leslie Frazier said. Walsh converted just 21-of-35 field-goal attempts for the University of Georgia last season, but the Vikings envision him as their kicker of the future. Despite his apparent job security, Walsh is well off the radar in fantasy leagues.
