Sun Nov 23 201411:36Wright (hamstring) listed as active Sunday versus Packers
Wright (hamstring) is listed as active Sunday versus the Packers.
Wright built up to a full showing by Friday's practice, meaning his hamstring issue is likely less of a concern than last Sunday. No matter, he's an unpalatable fantasy option, as he hasn't scored a touchdown this season, while surpassing 30 yards receiving in merely two of 10 contests.

Wright (hamstring) was a full participant in Friday's practice and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Green Bay.
Wright didn't have a catch last week as he played with a hamstring injury. He looks healthy enough to play, but Charles Johnson continues to get more targets in the offense and reduce Wright's role.
Wed Nov 19 201418:57Wright (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday
Wright (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday.
This doesn't look good for Wright's chances to play this Sunday against the Packers, meaning Cordarrelle Patterson and Greg Jennings should receive even more targets.

Wright left Sunday's loss to Chicago in the first half with a sore hamstring, but was able to return to the game, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Wright was targeted just once during the game and did not have a catch. Watch his status in practice this week to see if the hamstring becomes a problem.

Wright had two receptions for 29 yards on four targets in Sunday's win over Washington.
Wright continues to get a handful of targets per game, but the early chemistry he showed with Teddy Bridgewater hasn't resulted in a larger role.

Wright had two receptions for 13 yards on three targets in Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
Wright had been one of Teddy Bridgewater's favorite targets the previous two weeks, but Cordarrelle Patterson got most of the looks (12 targets) against the Bucs. Wright should remain in the mix going forward, but his upside may be limited if Patterson and Greg Jennings are healthy.

Wright had four receptions for 60 yards in Sunday's loss at Buffalo.
He was targeted four times, tied for second most on the team, as he's developed some chemistry with Teddy Bridgewater. If Minnesota's pass blocking get get out of it's recent slump, Wright could have value in deep leagues in the second half of the season.

Wright had four receptions for 17 yards and was targeted six times in Sunday's loss to Detroit. He also gained 21 yards on a reverse.
Wright was tied for second on the team in targets as he appears to have chemistry with Teddy Bridgewater. However, that's not going to translate into viable fantasy value in most formats until the Minnesota offense gets back on track.

Wright caught 3-of-8 targets for 27 yards in Thursday's 42-10 loss to the Packers.
Wright led the Vikings in targets, with only one of those coming in the fourth quarter. The offense was completely dysfunctional under the direction of Christian Ponder, and while Teddy Bridgewater's expected Week 6 return should help Wright's prospects, the former Arkansas Razorback is likely just the third option in an inconsistent offense. That said, Wright could be a decent source of receptions, as the Vikes don't have much receiving talent at tight end or running back.

Wright had eight receptions (10 targets) for 132 yards in Sunday's win against Atlanta.
Wright came out of nowhere to post one of the best games of his career. He actually could have gone over 200 yards, but Teddy Bridgewater overthrew him on a wide-open bomb in the second half. Bridgewater did hurt his ankle late in the game, but the early indications are that he'll play in Week 5.

Wright had one reception for 12 yards and lost five yards on one rushing attempt in Sunday's loss to New England.
Wright was targeted just three times as Matt Cassel struggled (5.6 YPA and four interceptions). Wright hasn't done much the first two weeks of the season and his role will likely decrease when Jerome Simpson returns from a suspension in Week 4.

Wright had two receptions for 25 yards and was targeted three times in Sunday's win over St. Louis.
Minnesota didn't need to do too much in the passing game after getting an early large lead, so Wright wasn't too involved. He's the No. 3 receiver for the next two games while Jerome Simpson serves a three-game suspension.

Wright (ankle) caught one pass for 14 yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs.
Wright hauled in his only target while bouncing back from a minor ankle injury that he suffered during Wednesday's practice. With Jerome Simpson facing a three-game suspension to start the season, Wright will likely head into Week 1 as the No. 3 wide receiver.
Tue Aug 19 201413:22Wright left Wednesday's practice with sprained ankle
Wright left Wednesday's practice with a sprained ankle, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The injury is likely minor, but worth monitoring because Wright could have a larger role the first three games of the season early in the season with Jerome Simpson appealing a three-game suspension for a recent DUI arrest. If healthy, Wright could begin the season as the third receiver.

Wright didn't have a reception but ran a reverse for a 17-yard gain in Friday's preseason win over Oakland. Jerome Simpson got most of the playing time in three-receiver sets over Wright, ESPN 1500 am Twin Cities reports.
Wright was seen in competition with Simpson for the third receiver role this spring, buts he looks behind Simpson at the start of training camp.
Sat Jul 19 201413:57Wright and Simpson competing for slot duties
Jarius Wright and Jerome Simpson are competing for the Vikings' slot receiver job.
The favorite is Wright, who has earned most of the first-team reps during spring practices and is a more natural fit for the slot than Simpson. Neither player will be anything more than the No. 4 passing option on a run-first team.

Sat Jun 7 201411:45Jarius Wright to break out under Turner?
ESPN Vikings reporter Ben Goessling thinks WR Jarius Wright could get 40 or 50 catches this season.
Wright has never even seen 50 targets in a season, but he has shown flashes of talent in his two-year career and has the skill set to be a weapon out of the slot. Wrights upside is capped, though, as at best the number-three passing game option in what should be a run-heavy offense. He is a late-round flier at best in re-draft leagues.

Sun Dec 29 201316:08Jarius Wright finishes year with 434 yards
Jarius Wright caught two passes for 31 yards in the Vikings' Week 17 win over the Lions.
Wright slid down the depth chart as his second NFL season progressed, wrapping up as the Vikings' No. 4 receiver behind Greg Jennings, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Jerome Simpson. Wright's final receiving stat line was 26-434-3. It's conceivable that Wright could open next year as the No. 3 behind Jennings and Patterson, but his fantasy value is clearly not looking up.

Sun Dec 15 201316:59Jarius Wright shows up with 4/95/0
Jarius Wright caught four passes for 95 yards in Sunday's Week 15 win over the Eagles.
Chalk this one up to the massive holes in the Eagles secondary. Wright saw just five targets, but turned them into a season-high in both catches and yards. In two of previous three games, he didn't even see a target. Leave Wright on waiver wires heading into a Week 16 game at Cincy.

Fri Nov 8 201300:42Jarius Wright has two-catch night vs. Wash
Jarius Wright caught two passes for 34 yards in Minnesota's Week 10 win over the Vikings.
Wright has cleared 30 yards in back-to-back games, but still has just 140 on the season. He's off the fantasy radar outside of deeper Dynasty leagues.
