Forsett (knee) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
As long as his knee holds up on Sunday, Forsett will take aim at a Miami defense that struggled to contain the Jets' ground game this past Monday, as well as the Broncos' rushing attack in Week 12. Overall, the Dolphins are allowing an average of 118.6 yards per game on the ground to date.
Sun Dec 7 201409:11Forsett (knee
Forsett (knee, questionable) is expected to play Sunday against the Dolphins, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
It's a notion echoed by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, though we'll await final confirmation of Forsett's Week 14 status once the Ravens' inactives are released in advance of Sunday's 1:00 ET kickoff.

Forsett (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, ESPN.com reports.
Forsett, who returned to a limited practice Friday, indicated earlier this week that he expects to play Sunday, but the questionable designation makes his status worth confirming in advance of the team's 1:00 ET kickoff. Bernard Pierce would be next up for carries in the event that Forsett is limited or out this weekend.
Fri Dec 5 201411:57Forsett (knee) returned to practice Friday
Forsett (knee) returned to practice Friday, the Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports.
We'll have to wait and see how he's listed when the Ravens release their official injury designations, but Forsett's presence at practice Friday seems to confirm his comments earlier in the week that he was "just resting up" when he missed practice Wednesday and Thursday.
Thu Dec 4 201417:01Forsett (ankle) did not practice again on Thursday
Forsett (ankle) did not practice again on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
More on Forsett's status no later than Friday, but with back-to-back missed practices now logged, his Week 14 status is definitely worth tracking. On Wednesday, the running back characterized his absence from practice as "just resting up, regular soreness," a notion that would be solidified by a return to practice, in any capacity, on Friday.

Per the Ravens' official site Forsett missed practice Wednesday with a knee issue.
According to ESPN.com, Forsett doesn't seem concerned about missing Sunday's game against the Dolphins, however. "[This was] just resting up, regular soreness," Forsett indicated Wednesday. "Especially coming into December, just trying to take care of the body and take care of the little nicks I've gotten over the course of the year."

Forsett (ankle) did not practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
That said, Wilson, who notes that Forsett has dealt with ankle issues this season, is preparing to play Sunday against the Dolphins, with Wednesday's absence being characterized as a rest day for the running back.

Forsett had 24 carries for 106 yards, adding two receptions for 17 yards on three targets, in Sunday's 34-33 loss to the Chargers.
Forsett topped 100 rushing yards for a third straight game, and he got two of his team's three goal-line carries, with the other being a quarterback sneak by Joe Flacco. Meanwhile, Bernard Pierce gained just 16 yards on six carries, and Lorenzo Taliaferro didn't have any touches. Forsett's workload clearly isn't an issue, but he'll have to deal with an excellent Miami defense in Week 14.
Tue Nov 25 201401:08Justin Forsett: Explodes For 182 And 2 Touchdowns
Forsett had 22 carries for 182 yards and two touchdowns in Monday's 34-27 win over the Saints, with another eight yards on two receptions.
Forsett ripped off a 38-yard gain on the Ravens' first offensive snap, and he scored touchdowns from 13 and 20 yards out. The Baltimore offensive line did a number on the New Orleans front seven, though Forsett also got more than what was blocked on numerous occasions, displaying the elusiveness and surprising power he's shown all season. Meanwhile, Bernard Pierce had seven carries for 28 yards, and Lorenzo Taliaferro didn't register a single touch or target. Both still loom as threats to handle goal-line work, but there hasn't been much of that to go around this season, with Forsett often finding the end zone from 10+ yards away. While a Week 13 matchup with the Chargers appears somewhat more difficult, Forsett has recorded at least four yards per carry in every game this season.

Forsett had 20 carries for 112 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 21-7 win over the Titans.
Forsett surprisingly had no catches on just one target, though it makes a bit more sense when you consider that Joe Flacco only attempted 27 passes. More important, Forsett got 20 carries to Bernard Pierce's eight and Lorenzo Taliaferro's three. Forsett scored on runs of nine and 11 yards, twice reaching the end zone before the Ravens could get close enough to bring in Taliaferro or Pierce as the likely goal-line back. While his yardage total was inflated by a fairly meaningless 37-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter, Forsett continues to do a good job of picking up what's blocked, and sometimes even more. His role as the lead back appears quite secure as the Ravens enter their bye week, with Forsett averaging 5.4 yards per carry while displaying excellent ball security. He's also shown well as a receiver and pass-blocker, which comes as less of a surprise than his fairly consistent success on the ground.

Forsett (ankle) had nine carries for 38 yards and five receptions for 67 yards in Sunday's 43-23 loss to the Steelers.
Lorenzo Taliaferro had seven carries for 21 yards and three catches for 34 yards, while Bernard Pierce took just one carry for two yards. Taliaferro's three receptions were a fluke, as he caught all three in garbage time on the game's final drive. Forsett is still dominating the passing-down work in competitive situations, and while Taliaferro is preferred for short-yardage work and the goal line, Forsett has led the team in carries each of the last three games. Taliaferro also gets extra work when the Ravens are trying to protect a lead by draining the clock, a scenario that could very well unfold in a Week 10 home matchup with the Titans. Forsett is still comfortably the preferred play of the two, and it's hard to see that changing as long as he stays healthy. On that note, Forsett did look a bit gimpy in the first half of Sunday's game, but he ended up getting touches deep into the fourth quarter. While worth keeping an eye on, the ankle injury is unlikely to pose a real threat to his Week 10 status.

Forsett (ankle) is active for Sunday night's game against the Steelers.
Forsett is thus in line to head the Ravens' Week 9 backfield, with Lorenzo Taliaferro and Bernard Pierce on hand to work in complementary roles.

Forsett (ankle) practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday night's game against the Steelers, the Ravens' official site reports.
Given the Ravens' late kickoff this week, the probable designation is a relief for Forsett owners, with the running back -- who has combined for 40 carries over his last two outings -- once again on track to head the Ravens' backfield in Week 9.
Thu Oct 30 201414:09Forsett (ankle) returned to practice Thursday
Forsett (ankle) returned to practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Forsett acknowledged that he was "hobbled a little" after Week 8's contest, but indicated that he will be fine for Sunday night's game against the Steelers. That said, given the Ravens' late kickoff this week, an official probable designation come Friday would no doubt be of comfort to Forsett owners in advance of Sunday's 8:30 ET kickoff.
Wed Oct 29 201416:35Forsett relayed that he has minor ankle injury
Forsett, who did not practice Wednesday, relayed that he has a minor ankle injury, Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports.
Meanwhile, the report adds that Forsett plans to play Sunday night against the Steelers, an optimistic outcome that would be supported by the running back's return to practice in some capacity Thursday or Friday.
Wed Oct 29 201414:33Forsett (leg) did not practice Wednesday
Forsett (leg) did not practice Wednesday, the Baltimore Sun reports.
The report relays that Forsett, who was limping after this past Sunday's game against the Bengals, downplayed the severity of his injury at the time, but we'll track the running back's status in the coming days, nonetheless. Next up for carries if Forsett is unable to suit up, or limited, Sunday night against the Steelers is Lorenzo Taliaferro, with Bernard Pierce (inactive in Week 8) also a candidate to re-enter the team's backfield equation.

Forsett had 17 carries for 68 rushing yards and three catches on five targets for 17 receiving yards Sunday against the Bengals.
Forsett led the backfield in carries on a day when Bernard Pierce was a healthy inactive, but he had to sit by and watch Lorenzo Taliaferro rumble for two second-half touchdowns. Forsett should continue to have plenty of fantasy value given his role as the lead back in Baltimore, but he'll lose a little if Taliaferro keeps getting touches in the red zone.

Forsett had a season-high 23 carries for 95 yards in Sunday's 29-7 win over the Falcons.
Forsett further confirmed his leading role in the Baltimore running game, but Bernard Pierce scored a short touchdown for the second straight week. It's been a bit unclear how the Ravens plan to handle goal-line work, as the team has mostly scored touchdowns from more than five yards out this season. It appears Pierce will at least get some, possibly even most, of those carries, but Forsett remains the top option for any non-short yardage situations.

Forsett gained 111 yards on 14 carries in Sunday's 48-17 win over the Buccaneers.
Forsett once again got the start, and he quickly rewarded the Ravens by picking up 52 yards on the game's second offensive play. He comfortably led the team in ground yardage, but Bernard Pierce had a 15-32-1 rushing line, with nine of those carries coming in the second half of a blowout. Forsett, on the other hand, took 10 of his 14 carries before the break. Meanwhile, Lorenzo Taliaferro had just two carries for 29 yards but surprisingly accounted for both of the running back trio's receptions. Forsett is still the clear top option for passing downs, and he's also getting a good chunk of the carries. The Ravens don't seem to have a clear favorite for the goal-line offense, which remains relatively untested due to the team's plethora of mid and long-range touchdowns.

Forsett had 42 yards and a touchdown on six carries and 55 yards on seven receptions in Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Colts.
The carries were divided between Forsett (six), Bernard Pierce (four) and Lorenzo Taliaferro (five), but Forsett started the game and accounted for all eight of the team's running back targets. Though Taliaferro seem to be preferred for short-yardage and goal-line carries, Forsett scored the Ravens' lone touchdown from 11 yards out. Forsett is the unquestioned top back for passing downs, and will likely continue to split the early-down work with Pierce and/or Taliaferro.
