Thu Oct 11 2012 | 16:52 | Jamario Moon hopes to remain in NBA |
Jamario Moon has hired a new agent and still hopes to sign with an NBA team. |
Moon's athleticism is no longer enough to overcome his limitations on the court, and there's minimal interest in him around the league. In eight appearances with the Bobcats last year, he averaged just 2.3 points per game on 29.2 percent shooting. |

Sun Sep 23 2012 | 10:09 | Jamario Moon hopes to workout for Hawks |
Veteran free agent Jamario Moon is interested in signing with the Hawks, adding, "all they have to do is call me." |
The Hawks are looking for a defensive-minded small forward, but Moon has struggled to make a mark in the NBA since playing with the Raptors from 2007-09, and at 32 years old he's rapidly losing his greatest basketball asset -- freakish athleticism. Even if he manages to make an NBA roster, his fantasy utility has ended. |

The Bobcats waived F Jamario Moon on Monday. |
The last time we updated Moon at Rotoworld was the day he signed with the Bocats back in April, which means he didn't play much while in Charlotte. He had a pretty inspiring season in Toronto a few years ago, but hasn't made a blip on fantasy radars since. |

Sat Apr 14 2012 | 12:37 | Source: Jamario Moon called up by Bobcats |
Jamario Moon will be called up from the D-League to the Charlotte Bobcats, a source tells SI's Sam Amick. |
Moon had been playing with a stacked D-Fenders team in the D-League, but he'll finish the season with a Bobcats team that is desperate for anyone who can help on offense. With Corey Maggette (Achilles) done for the season, Moon's worth monitoring in deeper leagues. |

Mon Jan 2 2012 | 04:08 | Jamario Moon remains an unrestricted FA |
Jamario Moon worked out for the Bobcats on Christmas Eve but remains an unrestricted free agent. |
Moon had a "solid workout with the Bobcats" and it's a bit surprising no team has dangled a minimum offer for the athletic forward. No matter where he lands, he's not likely to help fantasy owners. |

Fri Dec 9 2011 | 18:38 | Jamario Moon let go by Clippers |
The Clippers renounced rights to Jamario Moon on Friday. |
He's free to sign with another team and has enough talent to make it happen. He just won't be relevant in fantasy this season. |

Updating a previous item, Jamario Moon has joined the Quebec Kebs in order to practice with the team, stay in shape, and to serve as an assistant to head coach Robert Spon. |
It doesn't sound like Moon will actually be suiting up, but is rather just using the NBL as an opportunity to prepare while the NBA lockout is still in full effect. He is an unrestricted free agent. |

Jamario Moon will sign with Quebec of Canada's NBL. |
The former Raptor is a big name in Canada and will likely be one of the league's most popular players. No word on if he's got an opt-out clause, but we're guessing he's locked into the deal for the season. |

Jamario Moon started in place of Ryan Gomes Friday and had three points and four rebounds on 1-of-4 shooting in 24 minutes. |

Sun Mar 20 2011 | 09:29 | Jamario Moon doesn't take game seriously? |
Jamario Moon reportedly fell out of favor with Cavaliers coach Byron Scott because "[Scott] couldn't tell if Moon took basketball seriously enough." |
"I can't change who I am because of where I'm at,'' Moon said. ''I feel like the way you get the best out of Jamario is for me to give you the real Jamario." Fantasy owners know to avoid Jamario in all of his incarnations -- his on-court game has been about as consistent as his pronoun usage. |

Tue Mar 1 2011 | 02:06 | Moon makes Clippers debut on Monday |
Jamario Moon made his Clippers debut on Monday, playing four minutes with three points on a 3-point bucket with no other statistics. |
There isn't a tremendous amount of competition at small forward, but owners should wait for him to make noise before paying too much attention to him. Aside from needing to beat out starter Ryan Gomes, the Clippers will probably want to develop rookie Al-Farouq Aminu before playing Moon. |
Thu Feb 24 2011 | 03:29 | Jamario Moon traded to Clips |
Jamario Moon, who had 11 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and three 3-pointers on Wednesday, has been traded to the Clippers in the Mo Williams/Baron Davis deal. |
He could challenge Ryan Gomes for a starting job and was turning it on for the Cavs of late. He's not a must-own player, but is certainly worth keeping an eye on in his new digs given his ability to hit threes and block shots. |
Wed Feb 23 2011 | 23:19 | Moon nearly double-doubles off Cavs bench |
Jamario Moon hit 4-of-7 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in 29 minutes. |
Moon is starting to get some run and is benefitting by the struggles/injuries of Mo Williams and Daniel Gibson. He's not a must-own player yet, but should be on your radar. |
Tue Feb 8 2011 | 01:33 | Moon back to irrelevant in fantasy leagues |
Jamario Moon, who scored a season-high 14 points on Saturday, followed that outing up with four points on 2-of-5 shooting with three rebounds and a block in 18 minutes. |
He also decided to pass up a game-tying shot with two seconds left, allowing time to expire instead, and put a bow on his return to fantasy irrelevancy. |
Sat Feb 5 2011 | 23:36 | Moon scores season-high 14 points off bench |
Jamario Moon scored a season-high 14 points off the bench on Saturday, hitting 5-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block in 18 minutes. |
He hasn't done anything with playing time in the past, and we don't expect that to change going forward. Either way, he needs to put up serviceable lines a handful of times before we're looking at him. |
Sat Feb 5 2011 | 18:57 | Jamario Moon OK after snowy car crash |
Jamario Moon was involved in an accident on Saturday, but he is fine and will be available to play vs. the Blazers. |
The driver of the car that caused the accident left the scene, an edgy footnote to the story, but at least nobody was seriously hurt. |
Sun Dec 26 2010 | 20:32 | Jamario Moon quiet in spot start |
Jamario Moon started at SF on Sunday with Daniel Gibson sidelined by the flu, finishing with four points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block. |
Moon did little worth noting in his 24 minutes, and with Gibson is day-to-day so there's no reason to read anything into this temporary promotion. |
