Timma will remain overseas next season rather than joining the Magic, Alex Kennedy of Basketball insiders reports.
Timma, whose rights were acquired from Memphis on draft day in a trade for Luke Ridnour, will spend another season in Russia, delaying his arrival to the NBA. The soon-to-be-23-year-old averaged 12.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 58 games for BC VEF Riga of the Latvian Basketball League last season.

Timma's rights were traded to the Magic in exchange for Luke Ridnour on Wednesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The 2013 second-round pick spent last season overseas, and it's unclear when, or if, he will make his way to the NBA at some point in the future. The Magic simply wanted to move on from Ridnour, whose deal expires after next season, and it's likely they don't view Timma as much of an asset going forward.
