Motum will be joined by the Jazz's second-round selection Olivier Hanlan on the international club. The Australian big man signed a two-year deal with an option for the final season. His most recent stint with the Jazz, eight summer league contests, yielded 8.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. It will be Motum's third straight season overseas after a successful tour in the Australian NBL last year averaging 17.5 points and 7.1 rebounds in 27 minutes per game. |
It is still not a sure thing for the product of Washington State, as his contract is non-guaranteed, although he's in a good position to start the regular season on the Jazz bench. That being said, he'll be firmly planted on that bench and will rarely, if at all, see any action on the court. |
