G Courtney Lee has agreed to sign a four-year deal worth $48 million with the New York Knicks, ESPN reported Saturday night. Lee's entire contract is guaranteed, according to ESPN's Ian Begley. The 30-year-old journeyman guard was convinced to join the Knicks in part by newly-signed center Joakim Noah, who recruited Lee. The former Chicago Bulls big man joined New York on a four-year, $72 million deal Friday. Lee has played for six teams during his eight-year career, most recently the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 9.6 points on 45.0 percent shooting as well as 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and a steal over 600 games. He spent the first half of the 2015-16 season with the Memphis Grizzlies before being traded to Charlotte on Feb. 16. Between the Grizzlies and Hornets, Lee averaged 9.6 points in 79 games.

G Courtney Lee had the biggest play of the game yet again. In Game 4, Lee grabbed a key offensive rebound in the final minute that kept the Heat from potentially tying the game or going ahead. In Game 5 on Wednesday, Lee did it again, coming up with a crucial offensive rebound. This time, he went right back up with the rebound, draining what stood up as a game-winning 3-pointer with 28.9 seconds remaining. Lee then had a game-saving block with 2.6 seconds left.

G Courtney Lee missed nine of 11 field-goal attempts Sunday in the Hornets' loss at Washington and finished with eight points. He scored four and six in the Hornets' previous two games. After making two of six 3-point tries against Washington, Lee is 3-for-16 (18.7 percent) from long range over his past six games.

Hairston and also obtained Chris Andersen from the Miami Heat for Hornets guard Brian Roberts.Additionally, the Grizzlies receive four second-round draft picks, including two from the Hornets in 2018 and 2019, and two from the Heat. The 30-year-old Lee is expected to give the Hornets some help with scoring and perimeter defense. He is averaging 10 points per game and shooting 37 percent on 3-pointers this season. He also brings playoff experience to the Hornets, who are eighth in the Eastern Conference standings.The Grizzlies, in need of front-line help after a season-ending injury to center Marc Gasol, are hoping to get rebounding and defense from Andersen, a veteran with postseason experience who is in the last year of his contract. Memphis was fifth in the Western Conference standings going into Tuesday's games.Hairston, 22, is in his second year in the league and averaging 6.0 points and 2.7 rebounds this season. Roberts, 30, is averaging 4.8 points and 1.3 assists in 2015-16.

G Courtney Lee returned after missing two games with a hip injury and scored 16 for Memphis in a loss to Houston on Tuesday.

G Courtney Lee missed his second consecutive game Sunday because of a left hip injury.

G Courtney Lee, who injured his left hip in the second half of Wednesday's 112-94 loss at Oklahoma City, was not available Friday.

Lee has produced similar numbers in both of the Grizzlies' preseason games, as he scored 11 points on four made field goals, including two three-pointers, in Tuesday's exhibition against the Rockets. After starting 74 of 77 games with the Grizzlies last season, it appears Lee will again top the depth chart at shooting guard in 2015-16 while seeing around 30 minutes per contest.

Lee averaged 10.1 points (44.8 FG, 40.2 3Pt, 86.0 FT), 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 0.2 blocks in 31 minutes per game during 77 regular season games in 2014-15.

Shooting 40.2 percent from beyond the arc was good for the 20th best mark in the league, but only attempting 2.9 per game doesn't help his counting stats. In 11 postseason games he averaged 13.3 points (55.0 FG, 46.7 3Pt, 95.7 FT), 2.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.1 steals in 33 minutes per game. Lee is entering the final year of his current contract with the Grizzlies and turns 30 in October.

Lee contributed 15 points (5-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds, one assist and two steals in 33 minutes during the Grizzlies' 97-90 win versus the Warriors on Tuesday.

Lee's excellent postseason continues, as he's averaging 15.7 points (58.0 FG, 50.0 3Pt, 95.5 FT), 2.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals in 34 minutes per game during seven contests. Expect his shooting to continue earning him a hefty load of minutes going forward.
