Mon Oct 27 201419:50Plumlee had 2015-16 option picked up by Suns on Monday
Plumlee had his 2015-16 option picked up by the Suns on Monday, NBA.com reports.
The move was merely a formality, as the Suns were unlikely to allow one of their core players to enter the free market. In his first season with the organization in 2013-14, he solidified center, starting 79 of his 80 appearances. Meanwhile, he managed team highs of 7.8 boards and 1.1 blocks, while supplementing his line with 8.1 points (on 52 percent shooting) in 25 minutes per game.
Mon Apr 7 201412:54Miles Plumlee may have cleared 'rookie' wall
Suns coach Jeff Hornacek suggested that Miles Plumlee "got over the hump" after a mid-season lull in his performance.
Plumlee's playing time and stats are down across the board since the All-Star break. He seems to have run out of gas in February and March, but a smaller role has rejuvenated him and through three games in April he's averaging 9.0 points (on 68.8 percent shooting) with 9.7 rebounds.

Mon Mar 31 201400:28Suns starting C Miles Plumlee logs 11 minutes
Miles Plumlee started vs. the Lakers on Sunday but he finished with only six points, two rebounds and four personal fouls in 11 minutes.
Suns coach Jeff Hornacek couldn't find the personnel to slow down Chris Kaman tonight. Plumlee wasn't getting the job done so the Suns briefly turned to Shavlik Randolph and Alex Len, before ultimately settling on a small-ball lineup which basically conceded the paint to Kaman. Plumlee's sketchy playing time and minimal offense make him a poor fantasy option.

Sat Mar 22 201402:49Plumlee productive in 24 minutes on Friday
Miles Plumlee scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting with five rebounds, two steals and one block in 24 minutes on Friday.
Plumlee has slowly added value throughout the past month, but he's still producing at just a low-end level in 14-team leagues. It wouldn't be surprising if he continues to slowly improve, but he's only worth a look in 12-team leagues if you're desperate for big man stats.

Thu Mar 20 201402:06Miles Plumlee finally has a good game
Miles Plumlee scored 10 points vs. the Magic on Wednesday with nine boards and two blocks in 20 minutes.
He snapped a four-game stretch of not cracking double-digit scoring, but the minutes were not there yet again. Over his last five, Plumlee averaged 7.2 points, 7.2 boards and 0.8 blocks in 20.2 minutes. While he's not "back" for owners in standard formats, he's showing signs of life in deeper leagues.

Mon Mar 17 201422:19Miles Plumlee moves to the bench in 2nd half
Miles Plumlee moved to the bench to start the second half of Monday's game vs. the Nets, scoring three points with six boards, two assists and two turnovers in 18 minutes.
The Suns were down 13 points at halftime and needed to get some firepower in the scoring department, so coach Jeff Hornacek put Gerald Green in with the other four starters. Plumlee's minutes have really fallen in the past month, so he's not worth owning in the vast majority of leagues right now.

Fri Mar 14 201421:53Miles Plumlee does not return from eye issue
Miles Plumlee did not return after being poked in the left eye in the fourth quarter of Friday's game.
The injury didn't look great and Plumlee was on the ground for a while before walked off the floor. He finished with five points, seven boards and one block in 21 minutes. Plumlee's fantasy value is already trending way down, so he's not worth owning in most formats. If he needs to miss time Alex Len would start and also wouldn't have much fantasy value.

Thu Mar 13 201401:26Plumlee nears double-double in loss
Miles Plumlee just missed a double-double in Wednesday's home loss to the Cavs, scoring nine points on 4-of-5 shooting with 10 rebounds and no steals or blocks in 29 minutes.
The lack of defensive stats keep this from being a pickup line, but it's possible his knee is getting better and if he has another semi-productive outing it could be time to give him a look.

Tue Mar 11 201402:03Plumlee (knee) surprising on Monday
Miles Plumlee (knee) returned to action on Monday, scoring 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting with nine rebounds and two blocks in 26 minutes.
If Plumlee's knee is getting better and that is indeed a signal that he's going to return to form then owners will want to be ready to move, but he's still a speculative play at best after a difficult month.

Mon Mar 10 201421:15Plumlee (knee) to start on Monday vs. Clips
Miles Plumlee (knee) will start at center on Monday against the Clippers.
Plumlee said that his knee felt sort of week during his return to action on Sunday, and it's possible that this is behind his slow decline over the past month or more. He's not a desirable fantasy option until he can turn the page on his struggles.

Mon Mar 10 201409:09Miles Plumlee: Knee felt 'kind of weak'
Suns center Miles Plumlee said that his knee felt "kind of weak" during his return to action on Sunday.
He finished with two points and four rebounds in 10 minutes, and after the game he seemed to regret his decision to play. "I didn't have the control or explosiveness," he said. "I was afraid I was about to hurt myself worse trying to play on it." He added a few more optimistic details but anyone relying on Plumlee in deep leagues should consider him questionable to play vs. the Clippers on Monday.

Sun Mar 9 201423:42Miles Plumlee (knee) plays 10 bench minutes
Miles Plumlee (right knee sprain) played 10 minutes off the bench vs. Golden State, scoring two points and grabbing four rebounds.
Even before the injury his production had teetered toward fantasy irrelevance, and there's no reason to think he'll bounce back in a bench role with Alex Len starting and the Morris brothers playing at a high level.

Sun Mar 9 201420:08Miles Plumlee (knee) returns on Sunday
Miles Plumlee (sprained knee) will return to action in a bench role on Sunday.
Alex Len will start for the third straight game and it wouldn't be surprising to see Plumlee's minutes intentionally limited, to avoid any chance of a setback.

Thu Mar 6 201413:11Miles Plumlee ruled out for Thursday vs OKC
Miles Plumlee (right knee sprain) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Thunder.
Plumlee is being given an extra game to heal, according to coach Jeff Hornacek, and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Alex Len. Plumlee has seen a precipitous dip in his play over the past month, so fantasy owners don't need to think twice before cutting him for a more productive player at this point.

Wed Mar 5 201414:33Miles Plumlee (knee) misses practice on Wed.
Miles Plumlee (right knee sprain) did not practice on Wednesday and is questionable to face the Thunder on Thursday.
After he was expected to play on Tuesday, Plumlee sat out against the Clippers. The team changed his diagnosis to a strain from soreness, so they might hold him out for his second straight game. The Suns started rookie Alex Len and gave Shavlik Randolph 14 minutes on Tuesday, but neither are fantasy options. Markieff Morris will likely see more minutes against Serge Ibaka and Steven Adams.

Tue Mar 4 201420:19Miles Plumlee (knee) out, Alex Len starting
Miles Plumlee (knee) will not play against the Clippers on Tuesday night.
He was expected to play earlier today, but pre-game warmups must not have went well for the second-year center. Plumlee's minutes have already taken a massive hit with the team gaining confidence on Markieff Morris up front, so Plumlee can be cut just about everywhere.

Tue Mar 4 201416:50Miles Plumlee (knee) expected to play Tuesday
Miles Plumlee (sore right knee) is expected to play vs. the Clippers on Tuesday.
Coach Jeff Hornacek said that he'll give Shavlik Randolph and Alex Len some minutes at center, which suggests that Plumlee's playing time will be limited even if he does start the game. He averaged just 22 minutes in February and doesn't warrant a spot on typical fantasy rosters.

Tue Mar 4 201413:18Miles Plumlee a game-time decision for Tues
Miles Plumlee (sore right knee) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's game against the Clippers.
Plumlee hurt his knee in practice over a week ago and has been playing through it ever since, according to coach Jeff Hornacek. Plumlee saw his playing time dip almost five minutes per game from January to February and only saw 12 minutes of action against Atlanta on Sunday. Plumlee still has some value in extremely deep leagues, but owners in 12-14 team leagues can feel free to look elsewhere.

Sun Mar 2 201422:53Miles Plumlee very limited in fast-paced win
Miles Plumlee started at center but quickly fell out of the picture vs. Atlanta, scoring just two points with four rebounds in 12 minutes.
The Suns have found success by running past their opponents, which frequently results in small lineups that leave Plumlee as a cheerleader on the bench. His nice beginning to the season is a distant memory and Miles has been a liability in 14-team leagues over the past month -- even his brother Mason has had more value with the Nets during that span, despite getting just 16 minutes per game.

Wed Feb 26 201400:51Miles Plumlee gets 17 minutes in loss
Miles Plumlee played just 17 minutes and had six points, seven rebounds, a steal and two blocks in Tuesday's loss to the Wolves.
He's scored in double figures just one time in February and is averaging just 4.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over his last five games. The rise of Markieff Morris isn't doing him any favors, and you can probably do better off your waiver wire right now. Kyle O'Quinn or Timofey Mozgov, anyone?
