Sun Oct 8 202323:06Jarrett Allen Will Miss At Least Two Weeks With Ankle Injury
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (ankle) suffered a left ankle bone bruise at practice on Saturday. The team has confirmed the injury with an MRI and he will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The 25-year-old has experienced his fair share of minor injuries over the last few seasons that have forced him to miss a handful of games here and there. He remains the top defensive and rebounding force on the team, so his absence will be felt if he has to miss any regular season games with this bone bruise. He should also provide solid fantasy value around the middle rounds of the draft.

Mon Jul 3 202310:31Cavaliers Reportedly Open To Trading Jarrett Allen
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen is back in trade rumors, with NBA insider Marc Stein suggesting that he is available after Allen struggled in the first-round playoff series against the Knicks. "There have been some whispers this week that the Cavaliers are more open to trading Jarrett Allen than advertised for the obvious reasons: He appeared to struggle with the moment at various points of the Cavaliers' five-game exit to the Knicks," Stein writes on Substack. Allen, who was an All-Star in 2021-22, was limited to only 9.4 points per game against the Knicks. The 25-year-old big man was also linked with a trade prior to the draft, but the Cavaliers then reportedly weren't interested in moving him.

Thu Jun 22 202317:48Cavaliers Declining Trades For Jarrett Allen
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen is reportedly not on the trade block, but that hasn't stopped teams from calling and attempting to acquire the big man. The organization has said they have no plans of making big moves after being knocked out in the first-round of the postseason. It sounds like the Cavs have listened to the offers on Allen, but none are appealing enough to move the All-Star big man. Allen averaged 14.3 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 68 games with the Cavs last season. It appears the organization is committed to the 25-year-old big man.

Sat Apr 8 202318:24Jarrett Allen Questionable For Sunday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Charlotte Hornets. The Cavs have already ruled out most of their starters considering they already know their playoff opponent. That being said, it wouldn't be surprising to see them give Allen the night off to rest. It's likely that Robin Lopez and Dean Wade split up the minutes if Allen doesn't suit up. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Sunday for another update.

Thu Apr 6 202312:06Jarrett Allen Won't Play On Thursday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (groin) has been ruled out for the team's game on Thursday against Orlando. The starting five seem to be getting some much-needed rest before the playoffs start along with Caris LeVert. Fantasy managers that have any of the top six players on the Cavs should probably start looking for some different options. Lamar Stevens and Cedi Osman should see a big boost in fantasy value over their last couple of games.

Evan Mobley will slide over to the middle, with Caris LeVert moving into the starting lineup. LeVert has played well in 29 starts this season, averaging 15.0 points, 4.9 assists, and shooting 41.8% from deep.

Thu Mar 30 202322:16Jarrett Allen Listed As Doubtful For Friday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (groin) is listed as doubtful for Friday's game against the New York Knicks. The 24-year-old is in danger of missing his second game in a row due to a strained right groin. Isaac Okoro (knee) joined Allen on the sideline for Tuesday's game. That resulted in Caris LeVert and Lamar Stevens playing big minutes in the rotation. Between the two, LeVert is the much better streaming choice. It's worth noting that Allen was able to practice on Thursday. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Friday for another update.

Tue Mar 28 202315:43Jarrett Allen Downgraded To Out On Tuesday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (groin) has officially been downgraded to out for their Tuesday night contest against the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavaliers have already clinched a playoff spot, but they're only a game and a half behind the third seed and four and a half away from the second. Allen is going to be imperative for the team's defensive abilities both down the stretch and in the playoffs. Evan Mobley will likely slot into the starting center position again while Lamar Stevens should see some extra time. Stevens wouldn't be the best streaming option, however.

Mon Mar 27 202309:47Jarrett Allen Fills The Stat Sheet Versus Houston
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen posted a third consecutive double-double with an outstanding game Sunday against the Rockets, piling up 24 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocks. He was perfect at the line with eight attempts and missed just three of his 11 attempts from the field in a 108-91 win. Allen had a very quiet start to the month, but he has become a double-double machine again and will head out for another one Tuesday versus Atlanta. It's a tricky matchup on paper, with Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu roaming the paint, but the Hawks have actually struggled against opposing bigs all year. Allen has averaged 11.0 points and 10.0 rebounds with 1.5 blocks in two prior outings in the matchup this season.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (eye) will play Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets. Allen has missed the passed week after taking a hit to his eye, but after going through a full practice, he has recovered. Mon Mar 20 202321:41Jarrett Allen Questionable Versus Brooklyn
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (eye) is listed as questionable to play versus the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. Allen has been recovering from an eye contusion after taking a hit to the face last week and was finally able to go through a full practice with the team. If Allen is able to return, Lamar Stevens will likely head back to the bench and lose most, if not all, of his short-term fantasy value.

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (eye) has been ruled out ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Charlotte Hornets. Allen continues to deal with discomfort after taking a hit to the face last week and will miss his second straight game. Lamar Stevens should get another spot start with Evan Mobley shifting to center. Stevens is a low-end streamer with some defensive upside. Sun Mar 12 202311:25Jarrett Allen Not Expected To Play On Sunday
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (eye) is doubtful for Sunday's meeting with Charlotte. While he scored only six points on Friday in the loss to Miami, he made up for it by adding 13 rebounds and four blocks. However, Allen sustained a right eye contusion in that one, so it appears he won't be available versus the Hornets. With Darius Garland (quadriceps) questionable, Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley may be the featured scoring options on Sunday. At the same time, Caris LeVert and Ricky Rubio could see a significant rise in fantasy production, assuming Allen and Garland are ruled out.

LeBron James Injury Update

James injured his right foot during the third quarter of Sunday's comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was a tense few seconds after the multi-time MVP clutched his foot after suffering what was deemed a "non-contact injury." The concern grew to greater heights after he was overheard saying, "I heard a pop." Situations like this are never good, as many were concerned that an Achilles tear could be the culprit.https://twitter.com/FanDuelTV/status/1630602449227595777?s=20Yet, after James gathered himself, he tightened his shoe and finished the game, totaling 26 points, eight rebounds, one block, and one steal. Head coach Darvin Ham appeared optimistic while speaking postgame, stating the 38-year-old was "good."However, that couldn't be further from the case, with The Athletic's Shams Charania reporting that James would "miss an extended period of time" because of the foot injury. Charania later added that the all-time scoring leader would "require multiple opinions."https://twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/1630363560051187712?s=20

LeBron James' Season Recap

Despite James' advanced NBA age, he's still productive. In 47 appearances, he's averaged 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 6.9 assists. Fri Jan 13 202310:36Jarrett Allen Turns In Strong Double-Double In Win
Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen played a huge part in the team's win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday night. The 24-year-old was just five points shy of his career-high and four assists short of his first triple-double. He posted 24 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, and one steal while shooting a very efficient 11-for-17 from the floor and knocking down both of his free-throw attempts.
