Mejia has been granted his release from the Braves, and he'll head overseas to join the Seibu Lions in Japan's Pacific League. The 28-year-old was off to a blistering start at Triple-A Gwinnett, slashing .354/.420/.684 with seven homers and 24 RBI in his first 20 games. |
