Fri Aug 3018:20Deyvison De Los Santos Launches Home Run No. 36
Miami Marlins first base/third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos went 2-for-6 with a double and his 36th home run of the 2024 campaign. De Los Santos was traded to the Marlins at the deadline in exchange for left-handed pitcher A.J. Puk. The infielder opened the campaign at the Double-A level and posted an excellent .372/.426/.696 line through a 38-game stint. Then, through 77 games at Triple-A (split between Reno and Jacksonville), he sits with a .278/.326/.562 line with 22 home runs and 70 RBI. De Los Santos has emerged as one of the best power hitters in the minor leagues and could be in contention for a late-season major league debut. Deeper league managers should continue to stash the 21-year-old as he could provide elite power down the stretch.

Thu Aug 2210:06Deyvison De Los Santos Extends Minor-League Home Run Lead
Miami Marlins third base/first base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos hit his 35th home run of the season on Wednesday for the Triple-A Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. It is his seventh homer in 21 games with his new team after he was acquired by the Marlins from the Arizona Diamondbacks at the trade deadline. De Los Santos has hit his 35 homers with three different teams this season and has not slowed down with his new organization. He is the Marlins' No. 5 prospect and should earn a shot in Miami before the season is over. His power production this season is very impressive. It may be hard for that to translate immediately but he could thrive in Miami as the Marlins look to the future in their rebuild.

Mon Aug 1908:38Deyvison De Los Santos Adds On To MiLB Home Run Lead
Miami Marlins first base/third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and three RBI on Sunday for Triple-A Jacksonville. The home run was his 34rd of the season and he continues to lead all of MiLB baseball in that category. The 21-year-old opened the season in the Arizona Diamondbacks system in Double-A Amarillo, before working his way up to Triple-A Reno. After being dealt midseason, he has spent his time in the Marlins franchise with Jacksonville. Regardless of which uniform he has worn, he continues to slug the ball out of the ballpark. Between all three teams, De Los Santos has hit a combined .315 with 34 homers and 100 RBI. With the Marlins hopes of the playoffs washed away, there is a chance that De Los Santos could get some run at the end of the season, but with Jake Burger and Jonah Bride both hitting the ball well at the moment, he may have to wait a little longer for his opportunity. Managers seeking power should consider De Los Santos, should he get the call.

With the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp, De Los Santos is hitting .268/.349/.554 in 14 games with five homers and 11 RBI. Overall, through 62 games at the Triple-A level this summer, De Los Santos has gone deep 19 times. De Los Santos is a high-upside bat worth stashing in all redraft leagues as he could provide elite power potential down the stretch.

Tue Aug 619:43Deyvison De Los Santos Stays Hot With New Club
Miami Marlins third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos has continued to mash at Triple-A since joining his new club. De Los Santos was traded to the Marlins prior to the trade deadline with relief pitcher A.J. Puk being sent to the desert. At Triple-A Reno this summer, De Los Santos carried a .289/.338/.588 line with 14 home runs and 47 RBI. He is currently ranked as the seventh-best prospect in the Miami system on MLB.com. De Los Santos is on the verge of making his major-league debut, given his incredible production at the top level of the minor leagues. He is a worthy stash candidate in all formats given his upside to produce elite power numbers.

Fri Jul 2608:08Deyvison De Los Santos Traded To Miami
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was traded to the Miami Marlins on Thursday in exchange for A.J. Puk. De Los Santos has been one of the best power hitters in the minor leagues this season. He opened the season in Double-A, where he posted an incredible .372/.426/.696 line with 14 home runs. He then earned a promotion to Triple-A Reno where he continued to showcase his elite power with 14 home runs, 37 RBI, and a strong .289/.338/.588 slash line across 49 games. De Los Santos slots in as the fourth-best prospect in the Miami system on MLB.com. He is considered the best-hitting prospect in the Marlins pipeline and should see time in the major leagues during the second half of the summer.

Thu Jul 2513:24Deyvison De Los Santos Struggling In July
At the end of June, Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was slashing .346/.396/.678 with 16 doubles, 25 home runs, 74 RBI, and 20:70 BB/SO between Double-A Amarillo and Triple-A Reno. However, since the start of July, he's slashing .214/.279/.411 with two doubles, three homers, 10 RBI, and 3:14 BB/SO. There's a chance his dip in production is due to poor batted-ball luck. From April to June, De Los Santos posted a .385 BABIP. But, in July, it's down to .231. Despite recent struggles, Arizona's No. 14 prospect still leads the minor leagues in home runs (28) and RBI (84).

Tue Jul 1620:15Deyvison De Los Santos Remains Stellar At Triple-A
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos has continued to post elite production at Triple-A and is nearing his major league debut. Since June 28, the 21-year-old has held a solid .265/.294/.571 line with four home runs and 17 RBI. Through 44 total games at Triple-A Reno, De Los Santos has posted a .297/.340/.611 line. The young infielder began the season with his second look at Double-A and needed only 38 games to prove he was ready for the top level of the minor leagues. Arizona has lacked offensive firepower at the hot corner this season, with Eugenio Suarez sporting a disappointing .210 AVG with only 11 long balls. De Los Santos is worth stashing in deeper leagues and could become a 'must-stash' player if he continues to dominate Triple-A after the All-Star Break.

Thu Jul 1109:38Deyvison De Los Santos Adds To Home Run Total
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos continued his power display for Triple-A Reno on Wednesday. The MiLB home run leader added to his total when he went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer. The home run would be his 27th of the season to go along with 45 RBI and a .305 batting average. De Los Santos has been knocking balls out of the park all season and must have teams regretting that they passed on him in the most recent Rule 5 draft. The Diamondbacks don't currently have a spot for De Los Santos at the next level, but it's not as if third baseman Eugenio Suarez has done much to prevent Arizona from testing out their young prospect this summer. De Los Santos should be rostered in dynasty leagues and if given the right opportunity, makes for an intriguing stash in redraft leagues.

Mon Jul 107:02Deyvison De Los Santos Knocks In Eight Runs
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos continued his powerful season for Triple-A Reno on Sunday with a huge performance. De Los Santos went 3-for-4 on the day with two homers and eight RBI to lead Reno to their 40th victory of the season. De Los Santos has been a beast at the dish this season, leading all of minor-league baseball with 25 total homers this season between Double-A and Triple-A. The 21-year-old went unclaimed in the Rule 5 draft this offseason, and the Diamondbacks must be thankful for that, as he has hit a combined .346 with 75 RBI between both levels. The Diamondbacks currently have veteran Eugenio Suarez at the hot corner, but he hasn't shown the power that he has in the past and is hitting just .196 on the season. Suarez is the biggest hurdle for De Los Santos to overcome in getting his second his promotion of the season, but with his ascension and Suarez's descension, there should be an opportunity for De Los Santos to get a shot at some point this summer. With his immense power, De Los Santos should already be rostered in dynasty leagues and would be worth a pickup in redraft leagues if he's promoted.

Thu Jun 2709:49Deyvison De Los Santos Launches Two Homers For Triple-A Reno
Arizona Diamondbacks infield prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was 2-for-4 with two homers and five RBI Wednesday for Triple-A Reno. De Los Santos is scorching hot in June with eight homers and 19 RBI this month while hitting .329. The 21-year-old crushed Double-A pitching to earn his promotion to Reno and has hit .320 at Triple-A with nine homers and 28 RBI. The Diamondbacks' No. 14 prospect is making a strong case for a spot on the big-league club with his recent performances. The Dominican can play first or third base giving him some potential flexibility with Arizona. The time might be now to scoop up De Los Santos ahead of a possible call-up.

Tue May 2116:36Deyvison De Los Santos Promoted to Triple-A
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was promoted to Triple-A Reno on Tuesday, May 21. The number 14 prospect in the Arizona pipeline has been off to a scorching start of the season at the plate with Double-A and was rewarded for this by moving up to the final stop in the minor leagues. Through 38 games this season with Double-A Amarillo, the 20-year-old posted an incredible .372/.426/.696 slash line with 14 home runs, 37 RBI, and a 12:36 BB:K ratio. De Los Santos spent all of last season with Double-A but posted a mediocre .254/.297/.431 line with 20 home runs. This recent promotion now opens the door for a late-season major league debut, especially due to his impressive start. The 20-year-old should be rostered in most dynasty leagues and could become a popular stash candidate if he can carry this momentum into his taste of Triple-A.

Wed May 111:25Deyvison De Los Santos Has Big Week At Plate
Arizona Diamondbacks third base prospect Deyvison De Los Santos was snatched by the Guardians in December's Rule 5 draft but returned to Arizona this spring. He has seen his prospect stock drop lately (he was MLB Pipeline's No. 5 Diamondbacks prospect in 2023; he opens 2024 at No. 14) but still continues to flash significant upside in the field and at the plate. The 20-year-old converts excellent bat speed into plenty of power, and he's done a good job keeping his strikeout rate somewhat in check so far this season. In the field, he has a slightly erratic glove and arm at the hot corner, suggesting he's destined for first base or designated hitter long-term. Last week, De Los Santos did what he does best: turn heads with a big showing at the plate. The Dominican Republic native went 13-for-24 over the six-game span, adding three homers, nine RBI, two walks, and three strikeouts. He's been in Double-A ever since September 2022 but could secure a much-deserved promotion if he continues to hit the ball well.

Mon Apr 2909:59Deyvison De Los Santos Continues To Crush Double-A Pitching
Arizona Diamondbacks corner infield prospect Deyvison De Los Santos went 4-for-5 with six RBI and a pair of two-run homers for Double-A Amarillo on Sunday. De Los Santos has been on fire to open the season and is now hitting a shiny .395 with seven home runs and 18 RBI in just 81 at-bats. The 20-year-old out of the Dominican Republic is too aggressive at the plate, but he counters that with top of the class exit velocities and raw power. De Los Santos spent all of 2023 in Double-A, so it would seem to reason that a promotion to Triple-A could be coming with his dominance of Double-A pitching now. It would be nice to see more plate discipline, but De Los Santos is worth rostering in dynasty leagues and would be an exciting speculative add if the Diamondbacks call his name in 2024.
