The rookie right-hander hasn't pitched out of the bullpen yet as he holds a 4.61 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 167/62 K/BB ratio across 28 starts in Houston.

After a rough start to the season, Arrighetti has started to come into better form as of late. His 5.14 ERA is paired with a 4.06 xERA, telling us that positive regression should be headed the 24-year-old's way. As Houston has worked its way back into the lead in the AL West they will take everything they can get from Arrighetti. The right-hander will look to continue his hot streak next Friday when the Astros host the Chicago White Sox. Fantasy managers and DFS managers alike should be sure to target Arrighetti for that matchup with Chicago posting just a 75 wRC+ over the last 14 days, making it a prime matchup for the rookie.

Unfortunately, he took the loss as the Astros were unable to generate any offense. Arrighetti has shown flashes of brilliance in his rookie season, but his lack of control and tendency to get hit hard when things aren't working have his season numbers looking pretty rough. If he can figure it out in the future, his upside is sky-high. For this year though, he should probably only be used as a streamer in favorable matchups or when strikeouts are a big need.
