C Hector Sanchez belted a two-run home run against his former team in Monday's 4-0 win over the San Francisco Giants. The homer was just his third in 119 career games at AT&T Park in San Francisco. Sanchez's X-rays on injured ankle came back negative, Andrew Baggarly of Bay Area News Group reports.

He left the game in the fourth inning with a sprained ankle and was replaced by Buster Posey. With Andrew Susac out for the remainder of the season with a sprained wrist, the Giants will most likely call up another catcher to back-up Posey in the coming days.

Sanchez was removed from Saturday's against Colorado, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

He appeared to have been injured while running to first base on a sacrifice bunt in the fourth inning. Buster Posey, who was supposed to have the night off, came in to replace him. More information should be available after the game.
